Dr. Katherine Kosche, MD

Dr. Katherine is straightforward and helps you understand any issues, making you feel comfortable. However, her staff struggles with communication. They rarely answer calls or return messages, leaving you to figure things out on your own, especially when you need authorization or approvals from them. This lack of communication is concerning; important matters could be overlooked. After trying to reach them over 100 times in two weeks without a response, I’ve decided I won’t return.

The doctor was not interested in addressing my symptoms and everything was just matter of fact and live with it. I learned nothing that I didn’t already know, and she never addressed the issues that brought me into the appointment. You will do better googling your symptoms, unless you want a colonoscopy then this doctor is interested.

I definitely agree with another review here that this is absolute one of the WORST "doctors" I've ever seen in my life. After waiting like 2 hours to see her, she walks in the room to tell me she checked my medical history and I have IBS and that I have to “learn to live with it” I explained to her that I've been having stomach bloating and the discomfort goes to my liver and kidneys and it can be very painful, she repeated once again that I have to learn to live with fatty liver and IBS, for which theres no cure!! Duration of the visit... 5 mins. Go someplace else, all she is after is your money!!!

The absolute worst doctor i’ve EVER been to. She told me that I have to “learn to live” with my constant stomach pains and kept having me come back for more appointments, just to tell me the same thing over again. All she cares about is money!!! When I expressed my concern to her about still having so much pain and not being able to function in everyday life, she told me there was nothing she could do and just gave me a laxative. Absolutely ridiculous!!! She also had me get a pelvic ultrasound, even though my pains were in my stomach and would not give me the results of my ultrasound unless I came in for ANOTHER appointment. On top of that, she refused to write me a doctors note that I greatly needed and when I asked why she wouldn’t write me one, I was told “she just said no” and got no explanation at all. A waste of time and money, do not go to Dr. Kosche!!!!!

Dr.Kosche is one of a kind.Very nice. SHE treats you like your family.

Super nice lady! I came here after seeing another gastroenterologist for multiple episodes of diverticulitis. She recommended I have a colonoscopy to see why I kept having this issue. After my procedure, she referred me to Dr. Alan Herline for a surgical consult. It was the best thing that could have happened! Not only was Dr. Herline an excellent surgeon, but having surgery has been life-changing for me! I didn't realize how much pain I was actually having until I had my surgery. Lucky for me, Dr. Kosche was thorough and referred me to the right place for the best results.

No follow up, never addressed my problem. Dr Kosche only wanted to run an expensive Colonoscopy and I still have my GI issue. Will never recommend her and advice new patients to see another’s provider who really cares to treat you

I’ve been trying to make an appointment for three days. Receptionist keeps placing me on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. 10-15 minutes. Then I call back and nobody answers for hours! This dr was recommended by my primary but if this is what I have to go through I’ll find someone else. Can’t even get an appointment!!

the worst receptionist very unprofessional an rude.be seeing this doctor over 20 years and because I want to get a second opinion by other doctor this doctor don't want to see me any more I fiend this very unprofessional Dr is good but office staff need to go

Dr Koshe goes above and beyond to answer all your questions, I highly recommend her to anyone in need of an excellent gastroenterologist. She has a great personality and gets things done right away. Her staff is amazing too.

I had an upper endoscopy done. They told me the price, I specifically asked if that was the whole price. They told me that was the total and there would be no additional bills. A month after the procedure, I got another bill that doubled the cost of the procedure. Had I know this ahead of time, I would not have gone through with the test. Beware of any price this doctor tells you, it may not be the whole truth!

Great Dr, but POOR QUALITY office staff and PA. Does not follow up. Does not return calls. Staff always late. WAITED IN HALLWAY FOR 20 MINUTES AFTER APPOINTMENT TIME UNTIL SOMEONE SHOWED UP.

Dr. Kosche is fantastic! She seems knowledgeable and competent and has a great bedside manner; you don't feel rushed or stupid for asking questions. My only gripe is that her office is very unprofessional. Her receptionist is nice, but for whatever reason, they never seem to answer the phones! I had to have some imaging done at another facility and I had to drive over there in person to get anything done. Bottom line: great care, terrible communication

My experience with dr.kosche was great, i was refered by my optometrist. When i called i had a office visit within 2 days and after meeting her i was scheduled for a colonoscpy on that friday , she put all fears out of my mind and tests came back just as she suspected, i really like her straight forward approach and her instant treatment, her staff was extremely helpful and very helpful to get an immediate appointment and schedule my colonscopy all within the same week ,thanks dr kosche

Dr. Kosche is very personable. I had a colonoscopy scheduled and needed a questioned answered after hours, so I called the office and the service contacted her. She responded quickly and was very helpful. This is the character of a great doctor!
