Dr. Katherine Diase, MD

Katherine may be a great physician. The assistant she has chosen is horrible at her job. She fails to follow up, schedule specialist appointments, does NOT return calls nor emails. Janet possesses the professional courtesy of a young teen that simply DOES NOT CARE about a pregnant woman. I only say look elsewhere if you truly care about your service. If you do choose this facility, be warned, you'll go weeks without a phone call or courtesy email. Understandably, covid, has had an impact. BUT that should lessen the day to day work load. It is not hard to call or email a patient with extremely valuable and potentially lifesaving data, test results, specialist contacts, and/or appointment info. I do not trust this facility to ever do the right thing. Since we've already committed to this facility, I'll attempt to remain positive and pray everything works out alright. Once birth is finished, we'll have our own pediatrician and NEVER visit SWOBGYN again.

Absolutely love Dr. Diase! Although she was unable to deliver our first child due to an unplanned emergency c-section, she has always been super helpful, patient, and answers all of my questions. I look forward to her delivering our second child!

I have been going to the doctor do you see for awhile now I love her!!!!!! Every time I call, Janet calls back by the end of the business day I never have to wait the next day unless they're out on vacation

Excellent! My doctor retired and I am so happy that Dr. Diase is my new doctor. She is very nice, knowledgeable!

Have seen Dr. Diase a few times. She is very caring and patient. Takes her time with you, as if you were the only one there. Manages the time well, since there are many people coming and going in the waiting area. Was able to fill out that required paperwork prior to appointment online. Made things much easier upon arrival.

The Sugar Land office is very busy and usually booked pretty far out, but the staff are all very kind and patient. Dr. Diase is fantastic - she asks about all aspects of health, not just the obvious, and has always given me a great deal of control over my healthcare and decisions. She really listens to patients and appreciates what they want out of their healthcare and the relationship. She came highly recommended to me, and I would also recommend highly to anyone else!

Dr. Diase is the nicest Obgyn I've ever had. She doesn't have an air about her, and explains things in a clear, concise manner. I ask a lot of questions and never have I felt rushed, she answered every single one. The Sugarland office is comfortable but extremely busy so come at least 15 minutes before your appointment. I adore her Triage nurse as well, she's very responsive with returning calls. I have referred her to every friend I have, and I hopefully will never need to find another Obgyn.

Dr. Diase is a very nice and excellent doctor. I have been her patient for 15 years and she has delivered two of my kids. I highly recommend her as she is caring and really takes her time. She answers all of my questions and I wouldn't feel any more comfortable with any other doctor.

AVOID! Staff is TERRIBLE & negligent. My husband and I met with her for a consultation which turned into an unexpected examination & she refused to let my husband stand by my head instead of down by my feet making him very uncomfortable. Then I left a message with her nurse Monday @ 8am, finally after calling 4 days in a row, triage nurse told me to take OTC meds I'm HIGHLY ALLERGIC to & then said I wasn't as important as other patients. Even phlebotomist was rude!
