Given the nature of the OB/GYN practice, my provider was definitely in a rush. It worked out OK nonetheless. Also, I asked the receptionist and then spoke with the nurse about getting an anti-anxiety med for the procedure. Both followed up the very same day, and I felt well taken care of..

Dr. DeJong made a very good first impression.

She was amazing. I have PTSD and had a flashback and fainting episode during my procedure and Dr. Dejong (spelling?) immediately leapt into action and used ice packs and psychological grounding exercises to aid me. It was the easiest experience I've ever had in the OBGYN.

I really hope Swedish actually reads this comment because they need to know that KATHERINE N DEJONG is hands down one of the best clinicians I have encountered. I grew up with a physician parent so my expectations are perhaps high - and Dr. DEJONG just continues to impress me with her clinical skill, medical knowledge, and patient care. She exceeds all expectations, and I truly hope Swedish/Providence realizes how lucky they are to have her on staff.

She was an amazing provider. Explained answers to my questions, took me seriously, gave great medical advice- I would highly recommend her!

I really appreciate Dr. Dejong and am thankful to have her as my OB. She is very thorough, listens, and Is very caring. She takes any concern regarding my health seriously and does above and beyond to cover all bases. She has definitely put me at ease during this last trimester of pregnancy, and I feel I am in the best care here at Swedish.

I love this doc as a specialist. My only complaint is how hard it is to get an appointment.

I can't thank Katherine and her team enough for LISTENING to me. I came to her and her team after a bad ER visit earlier that week. I appreciated how quickly they were able to accommodate me, and the care I received was world's apart from what I had received at the ER. Not only did she help me confirm that I was misdiagnosed, but she explained my experience in detail with follow up material provided. She was reassuring, kind, and listened to every detail and concern from my story. Being a woman of color, there are many situations where I'm overlooked and go unheard, so it meant the world to me that this team took the time and showed up for me. Thank you all!
