Dr. Katherine Degen, MD

Dr Degen was very pushy about my family getting vaccinated. She was fine with me not getting vaxxed when I was pregnant but did tell me that I should. I told her no I don’t feel comfortable and she accepted that. In the delivery room prior to delivery my family wasn’t wearing their masks right away when she walked in but was in the process of putting them on, she snapped at them telling them to wear their masks when healthcare staff are in the room. None of the nurses cared if they wore their masks but she was unnecessarily rude about it. Then she didn’t explain how overnights worked in that if delivery was overnight, it would go to the on call doctor. The on call doctor didn’t even care if my family wore masks. Rude to my family = rude to me. It’s not about the masks, COVID or vaccine in general. It’s about the way she spoke to us. She obviously had high concern for me which was good. She consoled me once when I was upset about something, which was nice. Her nurses are amazing.

Dr.Degen goes over and beyond being a Obgyn. She’s has been my OB since 2018 but I feel like I known her for decades from the amount of care she displays. So grateful to have her.

Not impressed, I have family history of female cancer. In the last 9 months I've had problems such as irregular Cycles spotting in between, watery discharge of which none of this is common for myself. An ultrasound was completed and new growths were found. I was told everything was fine and just dismissed. Needless to say I went for a second opinion and everything is not fine.

Dr. Degen is absolutely incredible. She answers all of your questions (without making you feel stupid) and takes as much time as is needed at each and every appointment. She is very kind and makes you feel at ease. Her nurse is wonderful as well. We would never consider going anywhere else.

Dr. Degen goes above and beyond when I'm in the room. Whether I'm her very first patient or her very last that day she is always in a wonderful mood! She listens to every issue or question I have and will actually explain what's going on rather then a previous doctor who just ignored me or he would tell me what it was but not how, why, or what caused it. Very knowlagable!
