Dr. Crew saved my life so many times. She took me on as a stage IV BC Patient, in 2008. There were many challenges along the path, and here I am, 14+ years later still here. She's patient, knowledgeable and works with you as a partner in treatment. She won't dictate to you what you must do, or what therapy. She'll advice, present options and share factual data about outcomes. I'm a huge fan of Dr. Crew and her team, especially the lovely Lois, her long time RN. They work with you to accommodate whatever you need to treat you. That office is really busy, and at times it's hard to get thru immediately, but if you email, her team gets back to you. They don't drop the ball. So, be patient when making that first phone call for an appointment, use email and their MyChart app. Those are the best ways to stay in touch. Totally worth it.

Listens & Sees Whole Patient
I've been treated by Dr. Crew for more than eight years. I was diagnosed with an early stage cancer and had a small recurrence three years later (despite the very best treatment from Dr. Crew and the surgical team at NYP-Columbia). Dr. Crew genuinely listens to her patients. She is very quick to respond to calls and emails. She sees the whole patient and takes the individual's needs into consideration when developing a treatment plan. You are an active participant in your care when you're treated by Dr. Crew, which helps empower you to overcome your diagnosis.

Very supportive. Unfortunately not the doctor you want to see but what you need because no matter most after any diagnosis of breast cancer need some type of treatment. She will guide you through your options and hopefully help you make the best decision with the information provided. Easy to talk to though tough in the beginning, Mostly because I didn’t want to be there, but as I’ve had more contact we seem to be on the same page. I feel very comfortable wiry with Dr.Crew.
