Dr. Katherine Cornforth, MD

My experience with Dr. Kornforth has always been excellent. Her office staff, nurses, and herself are all caring and respectful. Since moving to San Antonio, Dr. Kornforth has been a true blessing. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a GYN.

Beautiful, easily accessible office with plenty of parking, kind and friendly office staff…and being DEAF means I always need a little extra to communicate! Dr Cornforth came in to see me with a smile on her face and took her time with me to discuss, answer questions, and make me feel at ease. I’ve hesitated finding a new GYN but I’m happy to have found Dr. Cornforth!

Dr Cornforth is the best. What I want to complain about is her billing department 'Jason'. I called after 90 days (stating they were going to send me to collections) that I had called the front desk and the lady at the front desk was going to shoot an email to billing about the balance. Jason said he never got that email. But I did make a payment of $30 that day. When he called me today to speak about payment arrangements he stated he couldn't do 5 months (30 per month) that it would have to be 3 months. He spoke some words that I couldn't believe came out of a practice. I understand I didnt pay full amount but I was calling to make a payment arrangement. Jason said 'how can I take your word for it' after calling me for a payment arrangement and also that my payment was 'not good enough for us' meaning the whole practice. I found this very unprofessional and he ended with sending me to collections and releasing me from the practice because Jason didnt want to work with patient.

Dr Comforth is an excellent clinician and takes time to listen to your concerns. She always has been proactive and develops with you a realistic plan of care.

I don't have anxiety when I have to go see Dr. Cornforth. She was also helpful when I had a problem with my meds causing side effects.

The Doctor is great but I had to wait 1 hour 40 mins.

To my absolute horror, during my appointment she decided to decline me as a patient stating she was overloaded already and I was too far along. I spoke to multiple staff in person and over the phone providing every detail and they didnt mention this could happen, after waiting over 3wks for an appointment no other Dr would take me past the 28wk limit. This lack of consideration on their part put me and my baby in danger due to not having a delivery Dr more timely.

She’s very thorough. Listens to the concerns and helps make an action plan. She’s sweet and kind. I have been going to her for years. She’s amazing.

Dr Cornforth went above and beyond as my Doctor. She took her time with me and answered all of my questions.

Dr. Cornforth is great! But her office isn't doing her any favors. I've been trying to reach the doctor for over a week to refill a prescription. I've left messages with the answering service and emailed them through the patient portal at least a 1/2 dozen time. It's time to consider a new doctor.

First time visit. I would give it 4 stars but when you first get there it's a little chaotic, especially since it was my first time at this office, maybe it's due to the pandemic, but seems like there were a lot of people in the office. We spoke to Brenda and she didn't seem very friendly. She just called my name and I was on the other side of the waiting room, so I had no clue who called me since her back was turned to me. When I got to her she was very straightforward, could be her personality, but in this setting, with new patients, she could have been a little bit more friendly and professional. The other ladies were very nice. I honestly wish I had spoken to them. The nurse was pretty nice, young, sang and dance to the music playing, showed she likes her job. Now, at this point from the chaos to Brenda I wasn't sure I'd stay a patient and still not too sure, but Dr. Cornforth was very down to earth, detailed and friendly. If I do stay its because of her.

Dr Cornforth was great but the staff was very rude and unorganized. Took 2 1/2 hours for my appointment. My email had the wrong suite number and I was told I can’t use the restroom because of the ultrasound. That information should have been in the email, had I known ahead of time I would have peed before leaving work and not tried to hold it til I got there. I was also told my significant other would be able to go in for the ultrasound but he was turned away after leaving work and driving all the way to the office. Overall the staff just wasn’t helpful or understanding. The office was PACKED! No hand sanitizer out. Just a bad experience.

Dr. Cornworth is an amazing GYNO. I'm so happy having her as my Dr.

She is an amazing Dr. she listens and took her time to understand my issues and if I wasn’t understanding something she explained things to help me understand which put me at ease. Dr Cornforth also helped think about some of my issues in ways I never would have considered! I had researched a little about my issue and when I spoke with her about it she actually agreed with me and was not offended by my reasoning and did not belittle me. It is refreshing to have a Dr who listens cares and allows the patient to have a say without inserting their dominance (what others call their “God complex”)! She is by far one of my favorite Dr’s I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with! If you’re coming to her, please be patient as she treats everyone with dignity and takes time to hear them out and discuss their issues. Because of this she can run late but I promise you she is so worth the wait!

She's very knowledgeable but it takes forever just to see her. My appointment lasted 2 hours and I was only with her for maybe 20min. They always take forever. Be prepared.

I love how sweet & genuine Dr. Cornforth is. She always makes you feel welcome and explains everything so well. I always leave feeling better just in the fact that I’m being heard, understood and cared for. The wait time to see her is ridiculously long in the waiting area and then the room but I promise it’s worth it. I’m also glad they changed the front staff as everyone is a lot more welcoming now compared to before. So thank you for that
