Dr. Dove is great. My son was born with some minor problems that prevented me from nursing. She was the only doctor in the hospital who actively monitored the situation with the goal of getting my son to a place where I could again nurse. I really appreciated her persistence and care. She is straight forward which some people may not like but I would rather have a doctor tell me like it is than be more passive. She has young children so she can also relate to our experiences as parents.

Run, run fast. Do not go to this woman if you value your time, money and want to know the source of your problem. She is all about getting money but will give you the run around in diagnosis. Our stress level has been increased 100x since seeing this woman. We would have been better off without her. She is very unprofessional. I have heard several people that have had similar issues with her. Let's just say there is a reason you can get in to see Dr. Dove quickly when you make the call.

Cold with newborn; didn't smile once or say congratulations. The appointment was set up at 5 days for consult about baby being tongue-tied. Dr. Dove instead did a 10 day check & then tried to leave. Actively discouraged consulting with ENT & suggested bottle feeding. When the mother said she wanted to breast feed, response was just pump & bottle feed. Dr. Dove went on about the complications of a frenotomy (mini surgery to correct tongue-tied) altho according to ENT it is a low risk surgery.
