No Thank You
The staff is incredible, kind, compassionate, with the exception of the stone-faced cashier. The doctor himself did not impress me. I didn't like his too familiar fist-bump greeting. And he wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. I was referred by my opthomalogist because I have a barely detectable macular wrinkle, which rarely affects my vision. Dr. Waite's first comment was 'we can do surgery, which will improve it by about 50%.' So what is 50% of rarely? Then he addressed two rather sizeable floaters I've been self-treating for years. They've diminished significantly on their own after I quit consuming animal protein. But the doctor's suggestion was 'we can do surgery, which will improve them by about 50%.' I felt like I was interacting with a surgical robot. Move 'em in, move 'em out. Enough said.

Susan R. - Ormond Beach After experiencing flashes in my peripheral vision, I realized it could be a torn retina & if left untreated, even for a short time, could lead to vision loss. I saw Dr. Cox, from Tomoka Eye and I was immediately sent to see Dr. Waite. He scheduled me for the next day & did painless laser surgery. He's a very caring & competent Doctor (& staff is as well). It was a painless surgery, and I would recommend him immediately.

After lightening flashes in my peripheral vision, I learned it could be an emergency condition of torn retina & if left untreated, even for a short time, could lead to vision loss. At 4:50 PM, during mandatory evacuation orders for Hurricane Matthew, I contacted Dr. Waite's office. They took me in early the next morning, determined it was a tear in the retina & did painless laser surgery right then & there. He's a very caring & competent Doctor (& staff). I highly recommend him! Dorothy Kelly
