Dr. Karl Rose, MD

I like Dr Karl a lot, but his office policies are horrible. Dr Karl is easy to talk to, very attentive, and has a bit of a sense of humor. He is what my mother called a 'horse doctor' meaning that he has an incredible amount of common sense which he applies to all aspects of his practice of medecine. He likes to to use the tried and true medications before moving on to state of the art products. This can be an upside or a downside depending on your views of medicine. I like it. The downside is his office policies. They do not have ANY computerized records keeping. There are no appointment reminders, prescriptions are handwritten and faxed manually. Medical records are handwritten and they charge to xerox them. My biggest beef is that he does not (ever) do prior authorizations for medications. This has caused me great grief in dealing with my insurance company. I have had to get prior autorizations done by urgent care for his prescriptions.

Dr. Karl is a very knowledgeable physician with an outstanding wealth of wisdom from experience, who has monitored my health and treated me for a variety of minor illnesses since 2014. I always appreciate the time he spends to explain things to me and the approach he takes to treat any ailments I ever have. I find him very easy to speak to---and that means a lot. I appreciate that he very seldom refers me to other doctors for care. He's straight to the point and very matter of fact. The staff is friendly and helpful. :-) The office, though clean, hasn't been remodeled since---I couldn't even begin to imagine when. He is not a fan of technology (mychart) etc., and he prefers to handwrite his prescriptions and to not re-fill them through automation with a pharmacy. Despite that, he's the best doctor I have ever had. Therefore, I will pardon the decor throughout and the inconvenience of not having some 21st century technology available, because his care is worth it to me.

He was attentive, caring, thorough, helpful, knowledgeable, and personable - he was great. He took a lot of time with me and explained everything to me. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Doctor Karl listens to your problems and always explains treatment and answers any questions!

I like him, my mom likes him, my husband likes him, my sister-in-law likes him. He provides very detailed information. Dry sense of humor, you get use to it.

I have been going to doctor Karl Rose for almost 6 years now, and found that he is easily the best family doctor I have ever used in my life. He is a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and a deep base of knowledge. He always steers me right, and has given me fantastic advice over the years. For many people, previously me inlcuded, going to the dentist can be stressful. That is no longer the case since having Dr. Rose as my dentist. Dr. Rose and all his wonderful staff are so friendly, patient and professional that dare I say I now look forward to going to the dentist. (Maybe a stretch but I certainly don’t avoid it) All of this and incredible dental care. Couldn’t recommend Dr. Rose’s practice more highly

I love Dr. Rose. He really takes the time to listen to your problems and needs! He is very thorough in checking everything from head-to-toe! I would definitely recommend him to others!
