Dr. Karl Hofammann III, MD

He IS direct and to the point. He takes care of his patients with authority and truth. A lot of reviews are based on patients who want a doctor to "candycoat" their issues. He gets it done, and gets it done right. Don't exaggerate your problem, because he is too intelligent for that.

Doesn’t deserve one star. Dr. Hofammann is the most rude doctor I and my husband have ever encountered! My husband has a broken clavicle and bruised ribs. He was in incredible pain. It’s bad enough that my husband was in pain, but to then have to be subjected to the rudeness, disrespectful, inpatient idiot was asking too much. Shame on Ortho Sports for having him on staff…a stain on them! He came into the examination room angry. He seemed annoyed to have to be seeing us at all. He bit our heads off when we simply asked him a question. Was angry at the questions. Very rude! Never physically examined my husband. Had only looked at his x-rays. I was so shocked at our treatment. We left and found a different doctor for our follow up appointment. Never again!

Fell and he said it was a sprain. Ended up with 10 broken bones in it and just had surgery on it. I highly recommend running from him! Do not go

Dr. Hofammann is a decent doctor. He is definitely not much when it comes to bedside manner, but I had no issues with the care that I received for my care. He is however blessed to have it by the tons in other staff though. The receptionist is quite pleasant as well, but the best employee there is Rachel (the cast technician). Even at the end of the day when most would be showing their tiredness, she is always still such a sweetheart. I highly recommend the office if u need a cast bc she makes it all worth while.

Very rude and condescending. Needs to retire. Don’t ever use him.

Disappointing visit. Wrist tendonitis. He just sent me on my way telling me to take Aleve. I asked about a cortisone injection and got brushed off. Went to another Doctor who did it right, gave me an injection and less than 12 hrs later I am 90-95% better. Will not go back. His staff seems lacking also. Bottom line is that I had a painful and debilitating condition that should had been better addressed during my visit. The other Doctor corrected it with a 15 second injection.

Treated me for wrist pain. Very good outcome. Very good care.

Insulting comments when your just trying to get help for your injury. I would not recommend Dr Hofammann at all.

Dr. Hofammann did surgery on my knee recently and I really liked him. I felt he was very intelligent and competent with what he was doing. He is a man of a few words but enough for me. I feel great. I feel a person who you meet and is too chatty may be trying to mask incompetence.

They treat people like drug addicts. They do surgery on you and then won't give anything for pain. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
