Inappropriate Questions and Poor Listening Skills
I went to this appointment to pursue ADHD medication, as I was diagnosed at the age of 39. Within the first 10 minutes, he asked me about childhood trauma -- and I explained that I'd been sexually abused as a child. His follow-up question was, 'Was it a molestation or more sexual?'I was confused and asked what he meant, at which point he used the word 'intercourse.' He was asking about the details of my abuse -- and whether it had been penetrative. I assume he was screening for addicts -- but this was completely unprofessional, and not the way to go about it.It was clear from the remainder of the appointment that he wasn't actually listening to the reasons for my appointment, and tried to prescribe me non-ADHD medication, focusing on symptoms that weren't the reason for my visit. This person should not be practicing medicine.

He had his back to me for the most part. Very limited discussion. Went back to my primary Dr and had my previous medication resumed. He put me on something that I couldn't even function on. He'd be a last resort but I don't think he'd listen to your concerns.

This clown has absolutely no idea what he's doing. I literally almost died because I picked him to help with my mental health, and you might not be so lucky.

He is rude and condescending. He doesn't listen well and actually argues about how medications effect me. It's a good thing he wears a tie, because it keeps his foreskin down.
