Horrible experience
Telehealth
Had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Stover through accolade care who uses plush care. First she claimed she couldn't hear me. Then determined I would need to go to urgent care for a simple sinus infection because my lymph nodes were swollen... Yesss that's cause my body is trying to fight off an infection.... She claims giving me antibiotics would just be bad medicine. Bad medicine is being scared to prescribe a simple antibiotic so someone can get better. By the way my telehealth plan is described as urgent or primary care. If you can't treat simple things then why do telehealth at all? Also loved the comments she kept making about where I live requiring video. Teledoc never did. So it's not a state regulation.

Plushcare

This person was rude, ignorant, and then refused to disclose the city and state in which she was working in the event I wanted to file a complaint with the medical examiner about her treatment and lack of care which working for Plushcare. Dr. Karen Stover was extremely rude, very unprofessional and did not communicate with me in proper candor before and during the appointment. I also was shocked that she would refuse to disclose her city/state of residence to avoid a medical examiner complaint .

I’ve rediscovered her to be my primary again after the doc I saw in between times with her changed his affiliation. She is still a caring and attentive doctor.

I would give 0 stars but because I was not able to see her. I had an appointment and the office called that morning and cancelled (said she was sick) so I made the next available appointment which was a month out. Then the office called this morning and cancelled that too. I'm going to a different office. I give up with this dr.
