Dr. Karen Schell, MD

Dr. Schell has been my OB for all 3 of my sons’ pregnancies and she was able to deliver 2 of them. She is kind, to-the-point, listens very well, reassuring and overall just a wonderful healthcare provider.

I cannot recommend Dr. Schell more to anyone I meet in need of a great OB-GYN. I have only used her for my GYN care needs and she is always so comforting, knowledgeable, considerate, and thorough. I have never had a bad experience with my care with Dr. Schell. The nursing staff is always very helpful and considerate as well. I have had some issues with the admin staff but doesn't seem to be any reflection of Dr. Schell.

Dr. Schell is a very good and knowledgeable doctor, but in c sections she doesn’t allow fathers to cut the cord. My advice is to let her know well before the date of the operation.

Incredible provider. She is incredibly competent, trustworthy, informative and knowledgeable. Took her time with me to answer all of my questions and confidently managed my high risk pregnancy. She is very thorough, I felt like I could trust her completely. Approachable, friendly, great bedside, professional, and easy-going.

Dr. Schell delivered my first child and the experience was traumatic. My mom and husband were in the room and were very distraught as well. There was obvious drama between the doctor and nurses that affected the care that I received. I had a fourth degree tear and my child was vacuum extracted. While sewing me up, They forgot to administer pain medication. During a situation that should’ve been beautiful, I was terrified and treated unkindly. With the children that came later, I used another doctor and hospital. I was so scared during my second pregnancy but it was a beautiful experience. Dr. Schell also induced labor for non medical reasons which could be part of the cause of the trauma I experienced during child birth.

Dr. Schell has provided routine care for me, prenatal care, delivered my baby, and even cared for me through some difficult situations. She’s provided nothing but competent, compassionate care in my experience and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I've been a patient of Dr. Schell's for nearly seven years. She's wonderful! I've recommended her to numerous friends and family. She has provided excellent care through my first two pregnancies, and I'm at the half way point on my third. Dr. Schell and my favorite nurse Tricia bring a smile to my face. They laugh with me and calm my fears when pregnancy gets to be overwhelming! Love them!

I have seen Dr Schell for 3 years now and have had 2 pregnancies within that time- one being a high risk mono di twin pregnancy. She was amazing and totally proactive with my care. By 10 weeks, I was seen by high risk too. The wait was long at times but I take that as she is spending time with each patient. I always had a long conversation with Schell, she never rushed me. She has become a friend through my last pregnancy. She eased all my fears about my delivery. Couldn't ask for a better OBGYN

I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Schell. She helped me& my husband cope when we lost our first child. She was amazing through the journey with our second pregnancy and delivery. She is very laid back and not pushy at all about birth control or how you want your delivery to go like some doctors are. I've recommended her to many other people. I look forward to her delivering all of my children!

Ridiculous that I have saw this physician for several years and because I had a balance of $117.00 that I was not aware of from 2015 they will not see me even after I offerred to pay $20 on the balance. I have been off work and don't have it due to a blood clot and now I am having menstral complications I really didn't want to change physicians but I am gonna have too. I'm sure they have collected payment from my insurance. The receptionist wouldn't listen to my issue. $117 I never seen a bill.
