Visit? Each appointment has been reschedule. When I do have an appointment she is cold as ice, standing as far away as she can, totally disinterested in my health and only concerned about how the appointment will be booked for insurance. My advice, find another doctor!

Awful Doctor
I agree with all of the comments here. Dr. Scanlan is awful. She’s unfriendly, cold and impersonal. She makes alot of mistakes (and doesn’t care) and does not pay attention. Worst doctor I’ve ever had. I finally found someone new. She is the worst. She shouldn’t be practicing medicine

Tone deaf
My PCP retired and Dr. Scanlon was the only doctor in the practice taking new patients (warning sign...). I wanted to schedule a physical with her but was told that first I must make an introductory appointment so she can onboard me as a patient even though I had been with the practice for over 20 years. I resisted this but was told I had to if she was going to take me on as a patient. So I took time off from work and drove 15 miles to the appointment. She proceeded to read back to me my medical record, '...so your father has Type II Diabetes...?''That's right''...so you are not taking any meds?''yep'After a few minutes of Q&A right out of the medical record she listened to my heart. (I am very fit with no history of cardiac condition)And that was it. Complete waste of time. As my deductible had not yet been met I had to pay for the visit out o pocket costing me over $100. She could not have cared less. I transferred to a new practice the next day.

Complete disregard for mental health conditions
Both myself and a close family member share this exact experience. Dr. Scanlan will NOT attempt to find the source of any mental health instabilities you go to her with. She WILL administer high doses of psychiatric drugs instead of talking to you and figuring out the best solution to your problem. She prescribed me such strong SSRI depression medicine I had an out of body experience for over four hours (because that’s not what I needed!) After switching PCPs, I was referred to a psychologist and found out I have ADHD and am Autistic. Dr. Scanlan did NOT try to figure this out or try to help me find someone who would. I now have a PCP who CARES to put me on the right medicine and work on my long term success. Dr. Scanlan made it clear she did not want to put in that effort. These experiences were a couple of years apart and the most recent was six months ago. If you or your children or loved ones have mental health complications, DO NOT see Dr. Scanlan.

My wife was not feeling well for months and Dr. Scanlan most recently referred her to a local urologist. In mid December when she still wasn'f feeling good she called and ask for another appointment. The Secretary stated that the Doctor couldn't help her and again referred her to a urologist. In the first week of January after continuing to feel bloated we went to the Emergency Room at a hospital where a very large tumor was found. Subsequently both the surgeon and the oncologist stated that
