Amazing doctor!
She is a great doctor, been seeing her for many years but I want to talk about her laser treatments. I had a big toenail that had fungus and lifted from the nail bed that really grossed me out. I went for a few treatments and voila! - it's back to normal. I like that she offers so many services through her spa, she's the full package. Thanks a million times over!

Exceptional healthcare
Front office staff were professional and pleasant. Back office medical staff person was efficient and caring. Dr.Renner is highly intelligent and very knowledgeable. My family physician retired and I was fortunate to have my next door neighbor refer me to Dr.Renner. I am a retired family nurse practitioner and I am thrilled to find someone of her quality, knowledge and expertise.

Unprofessional doctor and staff
Her staff was very unprofessional, very difficult to get a hold of her. Left several messages unanswered. Treatments were expensive yet ineffective, she constantly canceled my appointments the day before my service, lied to me several times, and she sold me a skincare product line for $275 that was empty. I don't think the esthetition who worked on my face was even certified to perform the procedures that i had done. I also purchased a $200 gift card that was supposed to be used toward wrinkle relaxer, yet she never used it and when she did inject me, the product was running down my neck and back, so it was ineffective. I had to repurchase it elsewhere again, so I paid double for wrinkle relaxer. When I asked for my $200 back for the gift certificate which was never used, she refused unless I signed a waiver stating that I would not slander her name or her business. I did not sign the waiver and I did not receive my money back.

wonderful experience
Dr Karen is incredible. Not only was she able to get my daughter in to see her on a very short notice, but she also removed a piece of metal from her finger that IU Urgent care refused to remove. It's rare to find a Dr. that actually listens to their patients and adds her personal touch and provides excellent care. I highly recommend Dr Karen Reid-Renner and her office staff are wonderful too.

lax COVID protocols, unresponsive
I was a new patient and never asked (at any point) to provide proof of vaccination. I didn't know if others were vaccinated or not. Office personnel didn't wear masks. Not all in waiting room did either. Although the necessity of tests and visits to other doctors was agreed upon during my appointment, 3 weeks later, despite several phone calls, nothing has occurred other than an apologetic message that the doctor is busy.

For two years Dr. Reid -Renner has been my primary care doctor while I attended graduate school. Dr. Reid -Renner and the state at Southern Indiana Family Practice have been a godsend to me. I did not have long wait times for scheduling appointments or after I arrived for my appointments. If you are new to Bloomington and looking for a great primary care doctor with great supporting staff, then I recommend Dr. Reid -Renner.

Dr. Reid-Renner is a miracle worker. I left my first appointment feeling better than I had in years. She is absolutely the doctor to see if you are suffering from anxiety, depression, and the confusing hell of impending menopause. She listened to my entire litany of annoying problems, gently calmed my general anxiety, and then patiently explained what was going on with me medically and how my issues could be resolved, both short and long term. Some of my problems required further testing, so she not only ordered the tests immediately, but also set up an appointment to discuss the results. Amazingly enough, she actually took my financial situation into consideration when discussing my treatment options, which is not only incredibly important, but also incredibly rare for a doctor to do.

After my longtime family physician retired, I researched several doctors, went to initial appointments with them, etcetera, and THANKFULLY a friend recommended Dr. Karen Reid-Renner! Dr. Reid-Renner is incredibly caring and warm, yet remains quite thorough and professional! We should be grateful for physicians (rare as they are) exactly like Dr. Reid-Renner-- I know I am-- I trust her with my health, as does my entire family!

Dr Reid-Renner and her staff were very warm and welcoming. I am a new patient and was very satisfied. She takes alot more time with you than the normal doctor. I usually feel shoved out the door. She laughed with me and is very personable. I'm a student and glad I found her to go to for the next four years.

She does not listen to concerns of patients and often miss prescribes things or the wrong dose. This could be a very big lawsuit if caught or if have enough documentation. I have seen how she does not listen to you at all when you have multiple issues and she never addresses then all or makes one issue less important then another when they are all causing problems. She does not use her time well and she lies and says she'll do something but it never gets done. No, this doctor is a JOKE.

First, this is Bloomington, if you can get an appointment with a doctor as a new patient, it's a small miracle. All other doctors have a 6+ month waitlist. Dr Reid-Renner will get you in within weeks. This means she is behind a lot. I waited hours but it was worth it. She is the first doctor I've had in almost a decade who will take the time to listen to you and acts on your concerns. I did not get preached to like some and she never left the room once it was my turn. Staff were busy but nice.

Good grief this place is a circus. I never waited less than an hour in the waiting room and I always had an appointment. There were a few times I spent over 3 hours in the office. Part of it was in the waiting and room and part of it was actually in the exam room. Karen has a bad habit of going back and forth with multiple patients at a time. She might spend a few minutes with me and then leave to go to the patient in the next exam room. She never takes patients in the order they come in. Chaos.

Love the Doctor, not the office staff. The Doctor often runs behind time on appointments because she takes the time to listen and put all the information together. She solved some health problems that have plagued me for years because she put my symptoms together and went beyond trusting simple blood test results. I always try for one of the first appointments of the day or after lunch.
