Dr. Karen McCarthy, MD

Dr. McCarthy has been my physician for nearly 10 years. She is so liked that I have followed her through various health plans to which she is affiliated. She listens patiently and always makes me feel special. In short, the best doctor I've ever had in my 81 years. My five star rating would be 6 if they were offered.

I have been a patient of Dr. McCarthy for ten years. She is the best internist I've ever seen - she listens, analyzes current and earlier lab and test results to determine status and changes in health indicators, always takes whatever time is required for the patient visit (which often exceeds the allotted appointment time). She is current on new findings and therapies and is extremely intelligent,dedicated and caring. I've changed health plans twice to stay with her.

I have known Dr. Karen McCarthy for 23 years. I have always known Dr. McCarthy to go above and beyond for her patients. When the patient is being denied the care she feels they need, she will fight with the insurance companies, consult with specialists, and pharmacists. My husband and I have multiple auto immune diseases. After bad experiences with specialist, she was able to give us a diagnoses and treatment plan that has successfully worked. She left no stone unturned. No cookie cutter Doctor.

Dr. Mcarthy became my primary physician about 10 years ago. At the time I had been given several diagnosis that all turned out to be wrong and was basically unable to function as a useful member of society. Within a month I had a proper diagnosis and treatment plan put in place and now own and operate a very successful business. She is willing to take all the information given and take the time to properly diagnose and treat even hard cases. Not enough space allowed to tell complete story.

Dr. Karen McCarthy has been caring for my 96-year-old mother for the past 10 years. She has brought my mother back to good health when much hope was lost. Each appointment is seen to with patience, empathy, and thoroughness. Dr. McCarthy has made herself available to answer questions and provide reassurance when needed. We are thankful for her practice and highly recommend her.

Dr. Karen McCarthy has been my physician for years. She is extremely focused and holistic in her treatment; she takes the time to answer any questions that I have and always offers me options other than prescription medications (which I appreciate!). She has a kind heart and wants to see her patients live their best life! Would absolutely recommend HER, and have done so many times in the past.

The best doctor that I've ever had. Really listens to you and gives a very thorough exam. Very caring and concerned. Follows up with you after tests. I would highly recommend!

Worst doctor ever. Doesn't listen, sits there flipping through your folder and making vitamin recommendations. I was sick for well over a month and she wouldn't give me anything to help - just send for test and more tests. It turned into pneumonia and almost going to emergency room until I begged for med and she finally gave me antibiotic and I was well in 3 days. Find ANY other doctor!

Dr Mccarthy is extremely kind and smart! Leaves no stone unturned. However, her office staff are so unreliable and ridiculous, that you just can't help but feel like you want to go to a more professional and reliable place! And why is the office so dirty and outdated?
