Dr. Karen Kim, MD

I've been a Dr Km ipatient for over ten years. She listens to what I have to say. She is caring. There have been staff changes, Betty is now retired.

Dr. Kim is capable and professional if you can get past the hostile and dysfunctional office staff. I have had this provider for several years and suffered long appointment wait times, rude staff, and delays in paperwork but since none of my issues were urgent I was not motivated to move on. My last straw was trying to schedule an appointment for an illness. I never actually got the appointment. I was hung up on, given a fake Telemed appointment and then bizarrely eavesdropped on when I was put on hold. They are not in the business of helping patients over here. Choose another doctor.

Had to get a new PC physician and made the mistake of choosing this one. Tried to make an appointment for 3 months!!! She cancelled on me and offered the next appointment more than a month out. They should stop taking new patients. They were rude and short when I explained I need prescriptions and asked for anything sooner just said “no”. They don’t care about patients.

For the last several years I've only been able to see Christina Quach, NP, who is very helpful. Cannot get an appointment with Dr. Kim. Office staff is disorganized, outright rude/unprofessional, and not truthful about calling/cancelling, etc. I've had many doctors and specialists throughout my many years, and after more than a decade with this office I'm moving on. Should have years ago.

My partner and I saw Christina Quach, NP for our first physical appointment with Dr. Kim's office. Christina was very thorough and thoughtful in her approach and we felt that we were seen for a decent amount of time as compared to prior experiences. We were able to get lab orders and prescriptions filled quickly and we feel confident about continuing our care with this office. Looking forward to seeing Dr. Kim our next visit.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. This is assembly line medicine at its best. I went in for a physical last week, and never even saw the doctor, forget actually be examined by her. All I got was the Nurse Practitioner (who actually seemed quite competent, but not a doctor). They won't discuss my results with me without scheduling a follow up appointment, again with the N.P.. So my entire physical (which i only do once a year) will take place without my ever seeing an actual doctor. Certainly not a good feeling. A nickel's worth of free advice for Dr. Kim: Why would I ever come back to you? How can i consider you my doctor if i've never even met you. And if i come back next year (or in 4 months), it would be like i'm coming for the first time. This is much less a doctor's office than it is a business. I tried to request a follow up appointment WITH the doctor and explain the situation, and the incredibly rude person on the phone dismissed me. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. PLENTY OF GOOD DOCTOR'S IN LA.

Bunch of liars and unprofessional group of incompetent staff. You’ll never get to see the doctor. Find someone else to take care of you.

IAM still in shock at how they screw me then have to keep me on hold for one hour then hang up on me. Then I was told simply hey we don't want your business. With out any reasonable cuse ....they lied to me and disrespect and no honur in thire work thank you front desk staff for continued lies

This is my 2nd PCP to see in the last two months. The first one didn't make me feel at ALL like she cared. Dr. Kim did. She was able to recommend other dr's to me and also give me multiple options on other alternative ways for my treatment. She knows what she is talking about, because of the research I did on my own, she was right there with me. I would definitely recommend her to others.
