Dr. Karen Baker, MD

They contract through Advent, wasn't disclosed to me. They ended up giving late work that my ENT did not use.

Dr. Baker was my doctor for the Inspire device. She didn't care what I said but cranked up the voltage. When I began having additional problems with the device, she brought in the Inspire sales rep. I guess it was easier for her to have two people pressuring me. On my last visit I told her I wanted the device taken out because I couldn't sleep without the device shocking me enough to physically jump. Despite me repeatedly telling her I was done trying to get the device to work on me. She insisted I make another appointment with her so she could have the sales rep in again. I made the appointment and walked out. I was in tears before I reached my car. The following day I called and cancelled my appointment and never went back again! I had a horrible experience with this doctor!

Best of luck in actually seeing a “doctor “ at this Advent practice. Be prepared to spend significant time dealing with “could not care less “ administrative staff and techs in this low rent sleep factory. Not for those with an actual sleep disorder or otherwise in need of medical attention You will end up loosing sleep wondering how the advent system got stuck with this office

I left previous review that Dr Baker was not helpful & that I only continued to go here to renew my CPAP prescription. Now I've learned they are sending out prescriptions but refusing to sign them (DME providers or anyone else cannot fill unsigned prescriptions). Don't use this incompetent people.

My former doctor is retiring and they would not give me a script for a broken so I had to find a new doctor and start over again. I chose Dr. Baker because they are with AdventHealth like my other doctor. My appointment with Cory was wonderful and I had high hopes for immediate results . I went that night (October 4) for the required sleep study even though I have had a CPAP for many years. It has been a MONTH. I got one voice mail from Cory to call back for results. I have made 4 unreturned calls to determine where I stand in getting a machine that is an important health aid for me!! I made an erroneous assumption that when leaving a message with an answering service that I would get a call back soon. After 40 years as a customer service trainer I can say that this is totally unprofessional . Being unresponsive to a medical need is unacceptable! I travel for business all the time so please leave a voice mail with instructions if I am unavailable!

To the person who left the negative review. My name is Donna and I work with Dr. Baker. First, I'm very sorry about your negative experience. We never require that a patient make a full cash payment. And when discover a patient is out of network we work to resolve the situation often resulting in writing off the claim. Please call the lab at 407 303 1558 so I can resolve the situation for you. If we could give 0 stars, I would After a sleep study approved by our provider, Advent health, we were referred to Dr Bakers office for results. SHE DOES NOT TAKE OUR INSURANCE AND NEVER INFORMED US! You would think if you are being referred to an office they would KNOW they do not take your insurance. We believe they knew but said nothing! If they didn't know, they are incompetent as all offices get insurance and ID upfront. We are now receiving harassing letters for full payment in cash! Like insurance isn't stressful and difficult on most folks anyway, this practice takes advantage of innocent patients to scam cash payments out of them. BE CAREFUL! Did I mention, we NEVER saw Karen Baker ONCE! An assistant, yes, but never saw Dr! RUN! Our next step is to get local TV stations whistle blowers involved to help prevent other patients from the same nightmare Karen Baker's office has caused us. SHAME ON YOU DR. BAKER!
