Dr. Kapil Puri, MD

I have been going to Dr.Puri for years. He has helped me tremendously with dealing with overactive bladder. He has kept me informed of all the old and new therapy options to treat my condition. He takes the time to listen to his patients and provides compassionate and professional care.

Dr. Puri is an outstanding and caring physician. I have been to other urologists including one at the Moffitt Center and without a doubt, Dr. Puri is the most competent and compassionate. I am very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr Puri has treated me in a very timely manner. He is excellent and i recommend him completely, Thank you to Dr Puri and his entire staff.

Dr. Puri has always been attentive, caring and responsive during my appointments, constantly checking for solutions to solve my health concerns.

Dr. Puri is a confident professional and that assures me that my needs are being cared for by the best and most competent urologist I could have. I've seen three other urologists in the past 15 years of living with bladder cancers and recurrences, but none has been as thorough and caring as Dr. Puri.

Will Never Use Again! Called to get an appointment for an urgent need, was informed he was out of town for the week and had no one to cover/assist his patients while gone!!

Dr. Puri has been my Urologist for years and I couldn't imagine using anyone else. Very accessible and easy to talk to.

I saw Dr Puri 5 years ago. He pulverized a kidney stone too large to self pass. He pointed out that there were a couple stones, one in each side but should pass on my own. Five years later after being hospitalized with severe urinary tract infection and bacterial blood infection, 2 pts from being septic, c scan if stomach showed a 15 mm, 9mm and fragments that are causing blockage. With the stones needing immediate "blasting" calling to get an appt NOW, proved a waste of time. I was put back into a new patient status n regardless the urgency to have stones removed, soonest appt, office visit, last week of Sept. Then, I may be able to get appt for stone blasting within the following week. The likely hood that the blockage causes by the stones will start be with urinary tract infection and bacterial blood infection is about 80,l%. Catch 22 that may lead to going completely septic. The receptionist/nurse I spoke with did not appear to be affected by the urgency.

Successful treatment after being involved in several meetings to discover the best option for me.

Staff refused to inform Dr. Puri of my immediate need after an ER visit associated with surgery completed by Dr. Puri. Only received call back when I notified my PCM at Eglin AFB. Had second surgery to correct original prpoblem not yet solved. Now I am permanently funding DEPENDS corporation. I have had 2 ER visits and 5 self-catheterizations after Dr. Puri's efforts. To top it off, I was informed by office staff that he couln't do anything else for me. The staff told me that I needed to get a surgery but had NO IDEA what the surgery was. I had to force more details. Once again, only communicated with by Dr. Puri AFTER contacting my Eglin PCM. HORRIBLE experience.

Dr Puri saw my daughter and was the first Dr to treat her with respect and kindness. He listened and showed genuine care. Literally the first Dr we have seen to try to help. Staff was also kind and professional. It feels like a family Dr from when I grew up.

Dr. Puri is a knowledgeable thorough doctor. He spends time explaining and discussing. I feel confident in his diagnosis. I am particularly happy with his staying on top of the situation.

I met Dr Puri today and found him to be extremely professional, pleasant and well-read on my health history - which is far too uncommon and I think that shows laziness and disrespect. But not Dr Puri - he knew it all and how the treatment options we were discussing would impact my existing issues. Not only that, it was a huge relief that I didn't have to give my 'spiel' about everything that's wrong with me because he'd taken the time to read it. Finally!! I'm super impressed.

i went to see dr. puri for a second opinion on a bladder sling , was told it might be in danger of puncturing and vaginal walls thinning, first saw him in 2014, after about four visits from panama city, fl to destin fl., a good distance he NEVER put me on the Evamine table to check and see if it was thinning, my next appt came up in may 11th @ 10:00 , i decided to call the office and cancel and seek help elsewhere, ask for a supervisor did not get to speak with anyone told them why i cancelled
