Great Dr and Guy
He treated me for ulcerative colitis and we went through the gauntlet of treatments with no success. ( even off label treatments he had to look into) I think he really felt bad but said surgery was an option. I may have cussed him out because at the time I felt like it was giving up. But the damage to my colon was to much and non of the medication were working. This conversation had me dig deep into surgery and without his kick in the pants. Who knows where I be. 6 years post surgery and my quality of life is 100x better. Perfect no but much better. Most of my bad days are self inflicted.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Shah. I was in pain for about 3 months. Like someone else said in a review, he had no sense of urgency or even caring. I finally got in touch with a dr. at Penn Medicine in Philly. Within a few days they set up a video meeting with the dr. That was a Wednesday and 5 days later on Monday the dr removed a stone from my bile duct. And he made his diagnosis from the ct scan that Dr. Shah ordered. Dr. Shah didn’t know what he was looking at. He told me he didn’t know what was wrong with me.

Dr Shah misdiagnosed me. He said I had to wait months to have an endoscopy and I had had severe abdominal pain for 2 months. I finally went to another doctor and I have to get my gallbladder removed. Don’t go to him no sense of urgency and lousy bedside manner!
