He saved my dads life.
My father had an aortic blockage & other blockages to his legs. Pretty extensive & risky operation. Dr. Bernard saved my father's life, before the operation my father couldn't walk 5 feet without being short of breath & his legs going numb. Now, my father can walk, ride a bike, & overall looks so much better! I thank Dr. Bernard for saving my father! 10/10

SIMPLY THE BEST
Dr. Bernard is at the top in terms of vascular surgeons. He is knowledgeable, friendly and helps explain the situation clearly. If you have an aortic aneurysm he is the the best choice in the Central Valley. His office is excellent. They are accommodating and friendly. Overall, those who have an AAA can not do better than Dr. Bernard in terms of treatment.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE!! I thought about not leaving a comment but I am thinking about the potential harm he is doing to patients. He is very cold, matter of fact attitude, and just rude! I dread the thought of having an appointment with him. In reading the last comment I agree he really thinks he has god qualities. I think he can really benefit from basic training on how to treat people.

I would not recommend Dr. Eckroth-Bernard because he has very poor bedside manner. He acts like he is a god. Very blunt and abasive personality. He tells you what he thinks and doesn't care whether you like it or not. NO compassion. He needs to be a patient and have someone like himself as the doctor and I'm sure he would not like the treatment.
