I had 2 surgeries within 6 months & both failed & caused me to be in worse pain, which I didn't think was possible. The first surgery the office cancelled the appointment to get my stitches removed & because they couldn't reschedule me quickly enough I ended up having a friend literally & painfully dig out the stitches because I couldn't reach them in my back & my body started healing over & around the stitches. While a nurse quietly apologized at my next appointment the doctor never did. The 2nd surgery wasn't completed because he supposedly "ran out of time". Once again within 6 months I was told I needed a 3rd surgery again. When I called & asked to talk with the doctor about it they said I could only talk to the surgical nurse, who I know wouldn't be able to answer the specific questions I had. Since then my back has rapidly declined, I can no longer walk without a walker, & my pain is severe. I'd never recommend this doctor. Stay away! I should've read the reviews 1st!

Dr Lewandroski has always been able to relieve my pain. Other doctors in Tucson said there was nothing that could be done. Dr Lewandroski is the best back surgeon I have been to. He has always done what was needed to repair the the area causing pain without causing pain from the surgery. Recovery, rehab, and pain medication was not needed. I was pain free when I came out of recovery both times. I will not go to anyone else, doctor Lewandroski is the best!

I would NOT LET this doctor touch my lower lumbar of the spine, ever again. After his two failed attempts, I have continuous pain in the L4-L5, down to the S1-S2, along with numbness from below the left knee to top of foot. It's been two years since that first surgery, and he dismisses this with an insousiance unbecoming a spinal surgeon. Caveat emptor!

I had outpatient lower back surgery by talk Lou in August 2020. The surgery was a complete failure and a waste of my time. I still had lower back pain and worse than before the surgery. I returned to the office several times for lower back pain injections that did help the pain somewhat but only lasted for a few days and were very painful when administered. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I would travel from ANYWHERE to see Dr Lewandrowski for any future issues. I had a double laminectomy, microdiscectomy in Feb, and I am currently 5 weeks post op from ALIF L5-S1. Pain FREE for the first time in nearly 15 years. I trust his expertise and would never let anyone else touch my back. I LOVE this man, and his whole staff.

I have been suffering from severe back and legs pain for several years, despite 3 major surgeries. It was suggested to have a complete spine fusion. I tried other alternative treatments with no result when I saw a report on TV about Dr. Lewandrowski’s minimum invasive surgery. He performed two procedures as outpatient, which minimized the pain considerably. Although a doctor’s office can be very busy, I found the Dr. and staff to be very professional, courteous and compassionate. C Drentea

I consider him the best in his field. He has removed a spinal cord stim,Harrington rod then fused my spine and bent it 23degrees. Six weeks ago he did a minimal evasive surgery on my neck. It is doing awesome also no pain again. This Doctor has a great personality and explains things throughly. He had me call other patients before my surgery to ask them what they thought and their outcome. Can't say enough. If you have to wait in the office it is because he is taking time with everyone.

Dr. Lew was willing to listen to the struggles and symptoms I had going on for years, when previous back doctors told me I was "too young" to have any problems. I've been an athlete my whole life, and I suffered from server sciatica, that was never diagnosed until seeing Dr. Lew. I have undergone scope, disc replacement, and 2 cyst removal procedures with Dr. Lew-ALL with no issues (and some injections). He is compassionate, personable, I would recommend anyone see him first for any back issues.

He performed a botched fusion on me and made my back more painful than it was (not to mention he made my spine unstable). DO NOT LET THE MAN TOUCH YOU!!!! PLEASE, I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT --- he is quack doctor and his "bedside manner" is awful ---- not to mention that he was ALWAYS late (and that included my surgery which his office botched up the date).

It would be much more helpful to see exactly what patients have to say in their own words not just click a prepared response question. The questions are slanted in favor of the doctor and clinic. I will not fill out something that is so one sided and no one else should either.

He showed up late for my surgery (the staff said this is nothing new) and then asks me Are you still sure you want to go through with this? Are you kidding me? The spine surgery made things permanently WORSE! His bedside manner is flippant and strange. He was all about talking up the surgery up front, but then I felt treated like some car dealer once you drive the new car off the lot. My advice is to avoid this surgeon.

My wife had two surgeries with this Doctor the surgery didn't do any good he refuses to help her.He says it may be arthritis I don't think it starts that soon.so now she is in constant pain has a hard time sleeping and a hard time walking now the pain has moved to her hip s it wasn't there before.I think he should have followed through an done something more instead of washing his hands of her.

Wish I could give a good feed back on this doctor. However I had a refferel to go to this doctor and for weeks I have left numerous messages on the answering machine. To my surprise I haven't even had so much as a call back from the office. So my writing is absolutely nothing. Oh but I have to highlight a star on o give it a 1 by protest only
