Perfect surgeon
I never felt rushed, Dr Sharma answered all my questions without being patronizing. He made an immediate connection with my husband and I. I was frustrated at having been sent to Emory, now I see it as a godsend.Offers video apts , a big plus when driving over a hundred miles. I do not regret my choice at all’ I went in convinced that I would die, he calmed my nerves and helped me achieve peace that was going to be fine

I would absolutely recommend Dr. J. Sharma. I found him to be very thorough and has a wonderful beside manner. His support staff are accessible and it's easy to make an appointment. I have an appointment with him yearly and I am confident in his professionalism.

I would NEVER recommend Dr. Sharma for anyone needing a parathroidectomy. Despite his confidence and reviews he's proven to be an incompetent liar. I had the misfortune to have 2 unsuccessful parathyroidectomies by him. In the end I was left with a 4.5inch neck scar and traumatic horner's syndrome which is supposed to be VERY rare. (He lied telling me he only did the mini invasive method and has never had to do a repeat operation).

I never got details/results of my tests, or could I get a care plan to move forward with, because I couldn’t get a call back from he or his staff despite numerous attempts. Worst medical office experience I’ve ever had. I literally had to find someone else. Super disappointing especially since the tests I had under his direction costs thousands and I was very seriously ill.

I went to him with a mass on my adrenal gland, I had been told by another dr that they would have to take my kidney to . But he done my surgery and didn't take my kidney only the adrenal gland .. He is very caring , I would recommend him to anybody,

I went to Dr. Sharma to check enlarged adrenal glands. He scheduled an MRI at Emory in addition to extensive blood work. I completed both items and called 3 times for the results/findings. I didn't ever get a call back until almost two weeks later. He didn't call but his nurse did. She said Dr. Sharma's notes indicated the adrenal glands were enlarged and recommends I see an endocrinologist ! Never addressed the blood work at all nor the other issues revealed by the MRI report.

I have known Dr. Sharma since 2000 in the capacity of patient as well as colleague. He is one of the best endocrine surgeons in our community. He has mastered the minimal invasive procedure. His patients are amazed with their outcome. He's a very personable, caring surgeon and I would recommend him to my closest family and friends.
