Dr. Justo Maqueira, MD

Dr. Maqueira is honestly one of the best OBGYNs in the state. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate about his work and patients. You never feel rushed in an appointment and he takes your questions and concerns very seriously. He never pressures you into anything you don’t need and always wants what is best for you. If you need a doctor to put your trust in, believe me, it’s him.

Emerald Coast is the best GYN office I have used. The staff is very kind and Dr Maqueira is a very kind doctor who listens and does not make me feel rushed. I had some rather silly questions after my hysterectomy and he answered all of them, and did not make me feel foolish. He assured me that there were clear margins and although protocol states I could come back in either a year or 3–I can’t remember, I told him I would like to come back in 6 mos and it was not an issue. He and his staff are definitely an asset!!

Dr. Maqueira and his staff always make me feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. Dr. Maqueira delivered all three of my babies with superb attention to detail and went the extra mile, each time, to make sure my needs and wants were met whenever possible and that I was fully informed as to what was going on. They are knowledgeable, honest, respectful, skilled, and extremely loving. Whenever I need care, he and his staff will be my Number 1 choice! On one of my procedures, I started to have a panic attack and he simply held me until I felt calm. He and his staff are so incredibly attentive and kind. I’m blessed to have found a doctor like this is PC!

I had been to numerous doctors for almost a year looking to get fixed due to another doctor’s mistakes and they had all told me to go back to that doctor…until Dr Maqueria. Not only did he NOT tell me the same thing but he listened and believed what I knew to be true about my body. He scheduled the surgery right away. I knew immediately after the surgery that I was fixed. He truly was a blessing in my life and has allowed my life to continue normally again.

I had a most excellent interaction, as always. I feel he is the best doctor to care for my issues and recommend him highly.

Dr. Maqueira was my Dr. when we were stationed at Tyndall AFB in 2004. After numerous miscarriages he referred us to a Fertility specialist and after successfully getting pregnant the specialist turned us back over to Dr. Maqueira. Knowing my history and all of my concerns, Dr. Maqueira went ABOVE and BEYOND for me during my nine months. He was such a great doctor, it was the best experience. I continue to tell people about my Dr. He is the best and I would highly recommend him.
