Dr. Hoover and his staff werereassuring and knowledgeable from start to follow ups. Professional and very understanding of questions and concerns. They provide the best pre surgery information and instructions.Dr. Hoover was caring and concerned for patient and personal concerns about surgery. He actually listened and made sure that those items were addressed.The surgery was well worth the wait. It was just enough time to gather all questions and get everything ready for a successful procedure and experience all around.

Waited for over an hour until notified Dr. Hoover was running 15-30 minuets late. Used 3 hours of work leave only to wait over an hour and asked to wait 30 minuets more. Had to reschedule. Will use Annapolis location for registry check-in. Will never get that PTO time back.

Dr. Hoover is a great surgeon with excellent credentials. I had some trouble scheduling a surgery date, but he stepped up and got it done. Three days later I felt quite good. I am pleased by what he did. In addition, he’s got a sense of humor and a wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Hoover is exceptionally talented. I like to brag a little about my experience when I encounter others that are considering similar surgeries. It would be wonderful if everyone could have a surgeon as gifted and caring as Dr. Hoover.

Dr. Hoover did a total knee replacement in 2019. I am currently seeing him for a leg fracture. He is knowledgeable, caring and communicates well with patient and staff. Dr. Hoover gives makes you feel like family and that you are he most important patient in the world.

Dr. Hoover is an exceptional surgeon. He replaced my right hip in July 2020 and thanks to the patient portal I was always only a few clicks away from interacting with him during my recovery. Recently, he treated me for a Bakers Cyst on my left knee. So appreciative for docs like him.

I saw Dr. Hoover about an extremely arthritic right hip that I anticipated scheduling for a total replacement in the very near future. Dr. Hoover was a true professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and patient-focused during my two visits with him. His staff was equally as impressive. I most strongly recommend Dr. Hoover to anyone contemplating joint replacement surgery.

I had both of my knees replaced by Dr. Hoover over the course of six months back in 2015-2016. The results have been outstanding and I would recommend him without reservation.

Dr. Hoover performed TKR surgery on both my knees in the last 48 months. Both surgeries were a complete success. I have found Dr. Hoover to be both personable and professional. I always enters the room with a smile on his face even when he has been performing surgeries for 15 hours. Highly recommended! As for his support staff: meh. All I can say is that he deserves better.

I was literally thrown into Dr. Hoover's lap when my surgeon was unable to do my LTKR surgery. He called me the night before to just chat and get to know me. This man is a genius. I recovered amazingly fast and have not had any issues. I am a 64 year old, out of shape, overweight woman, who can now walk and I am now getting in better shape and losing weight. Thank you Dr. Hoover, I will forever be grateful.

Dr. Hoover replaced my left hip 8-7-2017, no pain in my hip immediately after surgery. I would highly recommend him. Him and his staff are very caring compassionate people.

Dr. Hoover replaced my right hip in July 2016. I'm late in submitting this review, but wanted to give the new part a full year before I submitted anything. I cannot recommend Dr. Hoover enough, from the first consultation, to the diagnosis, through the journey of acceptance, right on through the surgery, bedside visit afterward, and post-op encounters Dr. Hoover made this challenge an easier and better experience than I could have possibly imagined. He is as good of a person as he is a surgeon.

Doctor Hoover replaced both my left and right hip a year ago. He is a consummate professional in both his surgical skills and his ability to relate with patients in a kind and understanding way. When my wife needed her hip replaced, there was absolutely no doubt who would do her surgery. The only negative I can see with Doctor Hoover is that he is a NY Yankees fan. But even this didn't stop him from giving this National's fan top notch treatment. :}

He was very willing to work with me to make me comfortable until I was ready for knee replacement surgery. His bedside manner was wonderful and made it a pleasure to come to appointments. I liked that he was up on the latest techniques especially using glue to close my incision which made recovery a lot easier.
