In 1991 I was taken by ambulance to Graduate Hospital in very weak condition. I had surgery soon after and Dr Deren became my gastroenterologist. I was very frightened but I trusted him and he got me on the path to recovery. Thank you, Doctor, for your knowledge, kindness, encouragement and dry sense of humor! I know you saved my life and I think it’s wonderful you’re still practicing.

I was a patient of Dr Deren back in 1986-87 for sever Cronhs he performed surgery removed my colon and gave me a illiostomy. He saved my life since we didn't have the drugs we have now. I just had a reverse with small intestine attached to rectum and taking Entiveo and octriatide. Thank you Doctor for helping me after another doctor failed
