Beyond disappointed
As a daughter, I was disappointed to learn from my mother of her experience with this physician. My mother went through a shoulder replacement with Dr. Robla, 2 months of therapy later returned for follow up care, in that visit Dr. Robla told her she was doing really well and to continue with the therapy, a week later she had to go back due to an excruciating pain and lost of strength in her arm. She says she left the office in tears today for the way the doctor treated her. When describing her level of pain and concern of her shoulder replacement the doctor was short, dismissive, and not empathetic, often raising his voice to the point of even said her face was not of someone who would be in pain. He ignored the symptoms and my mother was not allowed to speak. I was hoping for this to be an isolated incident, sadly after reading the reviews I see that is not the case. Seems concerning for someone who works with a large population of elderly patients.

Absolutely terrible experience. He ignored symptoms and only allowed me to speak when spoken to. The rest of the office staff were very friendly, but I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Julio Robla was highly recommended to me by friends and they were so right! I am so glad I went to Dr. Robla for my Total Knee Replacement Surgery! He and his surgical assistant Jason Bertematti have been wonderful with both pre-op and post-op care. And the entire office staff gets 5 stars for all that they contribute to the experience. It’s been 90 days since the surgery and I Love my new knee! It is so nice to be rid of constant knee pain! Danny worked with me on Pre-op and Post-op Physical Therapy and for the best results; you should definitely do the Pre-op exercise routine every day for 8-12 weeks prior to your surgery. I am 70 years old and an avid hiker. It’s been 90 days since my surgery and I am going on a hiking trip in 4 weeks and I know I will be ready. I’m still doing the prescribed exercise routine and getting stronger every day! Thank you again Dr. Robla for giving me back my active life!!!!

So far I have treated two different muscle-skeletal conditions with Dr.Robla and he is the best explaining "causes and effect"; he is not only very knowledgeable but also has a "common sense" that I wish other doctors could display too when interacting with patients. The office staff is friendly and well organized. Therapists are committed to the patients, very respectful and going an extra mile to make sure the patient understand the exercise’s purposes and how to improve health with the right movement and repetitions. When my son hurt his leg playing basketball and was given a diagnosis at an Emergency clinic, I took him to see Dr.Robla, who gave him the right diagnosis and treatment, saving non only his leg from a wrong treatment but a good chunk of dollars in the wrong treatment’s cost.

Tore my ACL about a month ago, and Dr. Robla, his staff, and entire team were amazing every step of the way. The office is clean, staff friendly, and he is an outstanding surgeon. People on here complaining about "long wait times" clearly never go see a Dr in the year of 2019. Dr. Robla takes his time with his patients, whether that be 15min, or 30min -- whatever you as an INDIVIDUAL patient requires. The physical therapy team in-office was also incredible and extremely convenient. Thank you Dr. Robla!!

I went to Dr. Robla after hurting my knee playing basketball, and I must say I feel 100% no regrets with my choice. Himself, as well as his entire staff made me feel extremely comfortable as I was nervous, not knowing what to expect. Dr. Robla is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong and how to treat it. I'm now back to performing 100% with no pain. I fully recommend him to all my friends and family.

I had a very great experience seeing Dr.Robla after injuring my shoulder. I never had any issues with scheduling an appointment and he was always on time. The office was extremely clean and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Dr. Robla himself explained the procedures and provided excellent care during my surgery. He is a very professional surgeon and it was a pleasant experience throughout this entire process. I would highly recommend him as the surgeon of your choice!

Visited 3 times for my injury. Average wait time was ridiculously long. It was at least 2 hours before see Dr. Robla. The first visit..the staff made me to take X-ray; they tried to retrieve the x-Ray when I visited them for the 2nd time and they lost the x-ray record (I don’t know how that’s even possible)Dr. Robla looks like he knowswhat he’s talking about, However, he doesn’t even know if it’s your first visit or second visit. It seems odd because it should be on the record. (Doesn’t care?)

Dr. Julio Robla performed hip replacement surgery on my 79 year old mother. She had already had her other hip replaced 8 years ago and it was a rough recovery. This operation was completely different from the first. Very little pain she was pretty much completely mobile and without pain 6 to 8 weeks after the surgery. He and his staff are wonderful. I can't say enough about him. Excellent surgeon.
