I would give Dr. power 0 stars if I could. She didn't listen or seem to care, rolled her eyes alot. Saw her in September and still no care because she fought getting testing at every level. Read the chart incorrectly. Honestly, go and see and real doctor. Her staff was great btw

Dr. Power was my assigned PCP with Kaiser Permanente in Salem, Oregon. After months of not feeling well, another Dr. ordered an ANA blood test which was positive for Scleroderma. Dr. Power disregarded my concerns and did not refer me rheumatology as my bloodwork did not indicate inflammation in my body. I continued to express my concerns about shortness of breath, joint pain, etc. 1-1/2 years later, after not seeing Dr. Power at all suing that time as she was never available and took up to a week to return emails, I changed insurance after 30 years. Within 4-weeks, I was tested and diagnosed with Diffuse Scleroderma with restrictive lung disease. Best prognosis is directly related to early diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Power disregarded my health and compromised my lifespan. What a disservice as a physician. I was treated as if my life wasn’t important. I am thankful for the high quality care I am now receiving. I feel heard and valued, and have hope for my future.

Things were fine until I needed a simple FMLA request filled out. She covered the days I had already used time for, but refused to add intermittent days even though the symptoms persisted. Claiming that since I didn't want to try new medication or "talk therapy" that FMLA was only there to cover Doctor's appointments. (I know this not to be true). I wish I didn't have to give such a bad review, because past care has been great, but I simply can't overlook this lack of caring.
