Not a good listener
I have had several interactions with Dr Rietze, both in office and via telehealth. While she seems like a nice person, she fails her patients by not listening. She put me on a new med. When it came time to follow up, I began the conversation by telling her that I was having a dozen or more "dizzy spells" each day and they were having a big negative impact on my life. She continued with the convo, saying she could prescribe me something for the "dizzy spells". This was after I have told her several times that I do not like to take a bunch of meds, only those absolutely necessary. Then at the end of the convo, she causally mentioned that it could be too high of a dose of the new meds causing the "dizzy spells" and let's wait and see what happens. If needed we could reduce dosage later. What?! NO!! Address the issue now, don't leave your patients to suffer. So, I made the call my self to cut the dosage and guess what, no constant "dizzy spells". On to someone else who actually listens.

It was nice, however I have not got my test results back and the appointment was on 12/7/2020 and today is 2/5/2021. Where is the follow up care?

She is a kind caring compassionate Dr. I never feel rushed and she takes the time to answer all my questions. She is smart and witty and makes you feel instantly at ease

Dr. Rietze is so wonderful! She takes the time to listen and really hears what you are saying. She is the sweetest and I will not see another PCP as long as she is working in Spokane. I 110% recommend her. My husband, who does not like doctors visits, has come to my appointments in the past and her level of care has changed his mind. He will be seeing her regularly as well from here on out.

I have been seeing Dr. Rietze since she started practicing in Spokane. She is compassionate and takes time to get to know you as a person and to treat the entire person and not just your symptom.
