Wonderful
I recently switched to Dr Ramos and I love her! She is kind and caring and very thorough in assessing my condition. Before beginning any treatment Dr Ramos ordered several tests. I so much appreciated her concern for my heart health and completely trust her. In addition her staff is wonderful and caring as well. Ocala is a better medical community with Dr Ramos!

Cardaic Review
MD Ramos was compassionate and thoughtful in her cardiac care and included general health and wellness in her decision-making process. Other Cardiologist have not been able to stabilize my cardiac health and heart failure symptoms, but just after 2 visits my condition changed for the better and I have been symptom free now for about 9-12 months. I feel that she spent way more time listening to my concerns than was needed, but it was much appreciated. I will continue to see this provider as she has shown true care and compassion in her approach to her patient care, and this is very hard to find these days.

It was of the worst experience ever, she was very rude and is always running off to see the next patient. Recording of my symptoms are inaccurate and often important matters pertaining to your heart health is overlooked. My records were left out of me complaining of loosing balance, lightheadness, loss of hearing, muscle aches and weakness, back pain, heart palpitations on several occasions she did not ask about my personal health, just checked the information from her assistant. For my prescription refills I had to go to her office my self several times, to ask them to send the refill order to to my pharmacy after my pharmacy had required it 10 days before. So if you are looking to get a Cardiologist, please take a look on the reviews before you make any desicion.

If you want a doctor who only wants to tell you what to do and does not want any feedback from you as the patient this is your doctor. This woman had know knowledge of my history with doctors, no understanding of how hard I have tried to lower my cholesterol, no knowledge that high cholesterol is hereditary in my family. She also did no know how sensitive I am to being overdosed on medication which has happened to me many times in the last twenty years. So I took charge and expect communication with my doctors and expect them to listen to me and discuss options not just sit there and be treated like anybody and do what I an told. I am unique, we all are and we have a right to be heard by our doctors. No one knows more about me than me. She told me I was set in my ways because I tried to discuss my cholesterol with her and all she kept saying was that she was not going to argue with me. At this point I believe she probably does not know as much about cholesterol as I do.

She does not know about cardiovascular issues and just goes "by the numbers". She does not even know the difference between ketosis and ketoacidosis, and has a cynical approach towards patients who have done their own research. In my opinion, she's not only not helping patients, but doing great harm. She did not even once address nutrition in my visit, except to try to make me feel inadequate when in fact I'm extremely mindful and informed about my nutritional and lifestyle choices. I would highly recommend against visiting this practitioner.
