My 15- year old child is having a mental health crisis. I am a single mom doing this alone. After months of trying birth control pills to regulate my daughter's emotions (which is not working) I returned to dr. for additional support. The doctor had no time for us, was impatient, cut me off mid-sentence and I had to walk away. She had "therapy resources" to recommend - no meds, nothing else. I've exhausted those resources myself, have my daughter in with three different counselors. and being that we're in a pandemic, every place has a waiting list. My child is suicidal and anything that would help take the edge off would be a lifesaver - literally. I'd hoped for better from this PCP. Checking my daughter into a psych ward may help but I can't believe it won't also do some level of damage. This was a waste of my time, and the doctor was incredibly rude. We'll be looking elsewhere for a reputable doctor who is skilled at treating all forms of health issues. Mental health is health too.

Dr. Currin has been a fantastic pediatrician for us! As first time parents, we have had a lot of questions, concerns and at times anxieties over non-issues. Dr. Currin always reassures me and calms my parenting nerves, while making sure that I am informed about my decisions. Additionally, she is always warm and friendly, and great with our opinionated 2 year old!
