My father was a patient of Dr Eng for about 2 years. Her last visit with him she said to him that it’s only a matter of time before the cancer metastases again and it will occur in about 2 years. She was so rude and cold. As a result of the convo, my dad asked how much longer he has left to live which is so terrible for someone to think!!! He now has his follow up pet scan and has been beyond anxious and sad leading up to it because he hears her words in his head that it will reoccur in 2 years. She is TERRIBLE. I’m very surprised MSKCC with their high reputation would keep a physician like this with poor ratings employed.

Cancer treatment
Dr. Eng is one of the most caring professionals I have ever encountered. Her knowledge base and willingness to engage the patients best interests is outstanding. Dr Eng treats my husband with a rare form of cancer and he is 8 years cancer free with an outstanding quality of life. She has become a much loved and appreciated member of our family. She is everything you want and need when a life threatening diagnosis is delivered. We thank our lucky stars she is in our lives and in charge of my husbands care.

Great Dr.
Can't say enough great things about this Dr. first day we met she sent me to NYC Sloan for surgery, for sure I thought I was not making it out. She diagnosed me with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Was home in 2 days, she offered me a great non Chemo treatment plan, when that no longer was working the best she got me into a clinical trial. I was diagnosed in January of 2020, it's now March 2022 and I feel good. She has given me more time with my family, She is very caring and is tough straight forward with everything. Absolutely love her.

STARTED TREATING MY DAD AFTER HIS DR LEFT SMK, I AGREE, DR IS WORSE DR HE HAS SEEN AT SMK YET. HE HAS BEEN A PATIENT THERE SINCE 2012. SHE IS ALWAYS LATE, DOESN'T PAY ATTENTION OR REMEMBER HIS CASE. NEVER FOLLOWS UP ON HIS TREATMENT. MY FAMILY HAS TO QUESTION HER IN ORDER TO GET MY DAD THE HELP HE NEEDS, OTHERWISE THERE IS NO NEXT STEP, NO FOLLOW UP. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, SURPRISED SHE IS STILL AT SMK. EVERY OTHER DR OR NURSE WHO HAS TREATED MY DAD HAS BE WONDERFUL THERE.

Horrible. My mother got back from an appointment with her CRYING. This doctor was RUDE with my mother, told her 'she was on borrowed time' and she was 3 HOURS LATE to the appointment and offered no apology. Who treats a cancer patient like this??? This doctor made my mother feel like she was a waste of her time. Would NOT recommend.

No bs with this doctor, she truly cares, she goes right to the point but not before watching you closely to measure the way you may react. She than comes up with best plan available and she leaves you with hope. This has been my experience with DR. Eng not to mention how nice she and all of her assistants are. Love all of you ladies and thank you, no matter the outcome.

Waited a month for this! I would have probably gotten more information, more professionalism and better attitude at a walk in clinic. Gave no options for treatment and basically said they had nothing more to offer than any other cancer center. Very disappointing that this was my first impression of one of the top hospitals in the country. Not a good foot to lead with. Better reevaluate some of your doctors Sloan before you slip to #3 on the list.
