I broke my finger 3 months ago, it was terrible because my finger exploded from the impact and was only hanging on the skin. Dr. Carlo has exceptional ability for something he is a Harvard graduate, plus he has an excellent staff. He truly cares about his patients and is willing to listen and work with you to achieve a great result. He did the surgery and reconstruction of my finger and I am very happy. Go see him, he's a great professional.

I highly recommend Dr. Carlo for your orthopedic needs. His staff is super friendly, kind and caring. I saw him for severe wrist pain due to my ulnar bone. He was able to diagnose my condition my first visit. He offered me clear concise explanations and then provided me the options available making the best decisions for me. He is very patient with my questions and gave me feedback without seeming distracted or rushed. He is so easy to talk to and listens well, patient, kind, professional but has a good sense of humor. Surgery is always the last option for him which I was glad to hear. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in what he does. I ended up having two surgeries on my arm/wrist. He did an excellent job and you can barely see my long scar. Beautiful work and I’m currently pleased with all aspects of my treatment of my surgery and finally pain free. He is the best of the best! Thank you Dr. Carlo! Sincerely Jesslyn Dyson

My husband had surgery in Gadsden in December 2019. After 6 weeks the doctor finally made an appointment with a wound care specialist. This doctor then sent us to Dr. Carlo. He was genuinely concerned with my injury. After having to have 2 more surgeries, I am on my way to recovery. Dr. Carlo explained everything very clearly. He and his staff are friendly and caring. Very thankful that we were referred to Dr. Carlo.

Overcharged for my copay. Has not issued a refund, despite promising to do so when I called. Actual service was disappointing - was not as knowledgeable as I had hoped about my specific injury (climbing finger injury) and had long waits in the room on both visits.

Doctor and staff were pleasant and appeared to be genuinely insterested in my problem. Undergoing treatment at this this time and reevaluate after 30 days . Offered 3 options to treat my problem. I liked having each one explained in detail . I chose least invasive treatment for now. Optimistic for positive results.

I cut off the side of my finger. Couldn't stop the bleeding. Dr. Carlo carterized the arteries and explained to me , even with a video, about the healing process over time. I was totally satisfied and would recommend him to anyone with damage to their hand regardless of severity.

I have been having pain in my wrist and fingers for a long time. A few weeks ago it started hurting especially bad so I tried to make an appt with another orthopedic doctor that couldnt see me soon enough. His receptionist recommended Dr Carlo, who she sees, and Dr Carlo saw me the next day. The next week we did surgery for carpal tunnel and I have no more pain. no tingling, no pain, no hand going to sleep anymore, no more restless nights. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! He is the best.

my finger had been locking up and I needed to see someone ASAP. no one could give me an appointment soon enough until I called Dr. Carlo. They saw me the same day and after one injection I was basically cured. He said it could possibly return but I'm 2 months out with no sign of it returning. Felt like a miracle shot. Never thought a simple shot, though painful, would basically relieve all pain and allow me to use my hand again. Very good guy and apparently he graduated from Harvard. 5 stars!

Very nice, very easy to talk to, and after we finished talking he GAVE ME HIS CELL NUMBER to call if I had any problems. He genuinely cared about my broke wrist. I couldn't be more happy about my choice to see him. They gave me an appointment to see him the same day I called. I called and an hour later I was in the room talking to the doctor. It was faster than even an urgent care. He casted me up gave me some medicine. He was so nice and fast. Couldn't recommend him more!

I had been suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome for too long. I saw him on television talking about it and decided to give him a call. They made me an appointment the next day which is amazing! He said surgery would be the best option after he saw my nerve studies. He scheduled the surgery the next day and one week later it feels so much better I wonder why I waited so long in the first place to fix it. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable and his staff was great!
