Dr.Payne Listens to the Whole Patient
I first met Dr. Julia Payne years ago while I suffered pneumonia and a severe asthma attack. She and her staff couldn't have been more attentive. Dr. Payne has since treated my pulmonary problems, but just as important, she has always considered my whole person---not only my lungs, but other symptons causing my problems. She took the initiative to talk with my team of doctors seeking to diagnose my fatigue, shortness of breath, and general ill health of long standing. Her suggestions to consider tests under their management led to my being treated for an impending stroke; a diagnosis that possibly would have been missed if Dr. Payne had followed up only on symptoms associated with my pulmonary function. I consider her at the top of the list with those few physicians who give extraordinary care.

Dr. Payne has been my doctor for years, and she always is thorough in her examinations and questions. As well as explanations and education. She is caring and professional. I trust her judgment and treatment. Dr.Payne is a role model for her colleagues to aspire to emulate.

I wouldn't want anybody else but Dr. Payne!! She is so thorough on all aspects, even things that don't pertain to the field of pulmonology. She listens, is proactive, fun to talk to, she explains everything so clearly to you. Please treat her good as your employee because you have a great doctor. My last statement is my opinion, not anything that Dr Payne commented to me, just so you know. You can tell she lives her job, the field she is in and loves helping people and getting to the bottom of things. I wish I could clone all of her attributes and put them in several other doctors I know. Lol
