They made this experience very memorable. I felt welcome and well taken care of, I was not happy about having to have this done to my face. They went out of their way to assure me it would go as smoothly as possible.

Had Mohs surgery, two areas on the scalp. Consultation and surgery went well. Until point of stitching the wound and Dr Kasprsak decided to not stitch it, with no discussion or explanation. Later in the surgery report, it stated I had agreed to second intention, which is what leaving the wound open is called. Stitching to repair the wound was the only option discussed. I did not know it at the time, but the wound now had to be dressed daily for about 3 months, instead of two weeks if it had been stitched. This was never discussed. Would not consider using Dr Kasprsak in the future. As to why I didn't insist on stitching: in consultation, Dr Kasprsak said the areas in her opinion were quite small. So after 3 Mohs attempts, and getting the all clear, I was asked if I was ready to be bandaged and go home. I said yes. Maybe this was my agreement. Bandage on 2 days, then saw large wounds. Too late for stitching. Now at day 59 from surgery, wound is still open, and dressed daily.
