Dr. Julia Binder, MD

I’m not a regular patient of Dr. Binder, but she was the covering doctor during my recent hospital stay. Her concern, her knowledge and her reassurance was so instrumental in my recovery. If she treated me, a non-patient, with that much care I can only imagine how well Dr. Binder treats her practice’s patients.

I had a great 1st experience with Dr. Binder. She was referred to me by my PCP for a colonoscopy due to age and family history. Prior to the procedure, I reached out via the portal because I was also experiencing acid reflux as well and responded right away letting me know that I needed an office visit for that. Day of the procedure, Dr. Binder remembered that I reached out regarding the acid reflux and the fact that my parent had esophageal cancer and reminded me to schedule an appointment for the office visit. She also asked me how the prep was since this was my first time and I told her I wasn't a fan of it due to me getting ill as well as me not a fan of gatorade, and she said the next time to let them know and they would recommend something else. After the procedure she explained what she saw and what next steps would be and within a week I received the actual results via mail and through the portal. I will be visiting again in 5 years!

She takes her time explaining everything to you so that you can understand what she is saying. She will ask you question and listen to what you are talking her. And she will answer any questions you have. She does not rush to throw it is it

She really took a great deal of time talking to me - I never felt rushed. She carefully explained my how she would treat my issues. She is very professional and definitely cares about her patients.

Very good experience with the Gastroenterology Associates group in general and with Dr. Binder in particular. Extremely nice, caring and interested in patient’s well being. Thank you.

Office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Binder took the time to explain what was currently happening and what to look out for in the future. She reached out to my primary care Doctor which was key in coaching me as to stay healthy!

My first meeting with Dr. Binder although I have been with that practice for a long time. She took the time needed to review my file and had suggestions for treatment that seem reasonable and hopefully effective.

I found the Gastrointestinal Associates office in Jenkintown, PA to be a great experience. The office staff and nurses were very friendly and created a welcoming environment. Dr. Binder was so easy to talk with. I appreciated how she listened to me and made me feel heard and understood. She also took her time to explain everything to me and for me to ask any questions. I highly recommend Dr. Binder and this office!

i SAW HER ON MAY 24, 2022. I HAVE BEEN SEEING HER FOR A FEW YEARS NOW, FOR ACID REFLEX, STOMACH ISSUES ETC. I REALLY DO LIKE HER, AS SHE IS VERY LAID BACK, LISTENS TO MY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS THEM. I CAN TALK TO HER VERY EASILY. GIVES ME INFORMATION AND EXAMINES MY STOMACH AREA. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER.

Dr. Binder took her time to meet with my daughter. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone that I know.

Dr. Binder is an excellent gastroenterologist. She listens to her patient's concerns and recommends treatment without always jumping to the more extremes, like surgery or endoscopy. She is very empathetic.

As always Dr. Binder takes time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and provides comforting and professional answers. It is clear that she really cares about you as a person. It is easy to communicate with her via messenger and she always answers in a very timely manner. I have full confidence in her and have recommended her to some of my friends.

Dr. Binder is extremely empathic and kind. She is very thorough and she took the time to talk to me and understand why I was there. She made a few suggestions about lifestyle changes (diet) that were extremely helpful and had positive results. Over the course of a few months, she ordered necessary tests and then patiently explained the results. She is knowledgeable and explained the details of my particular medical issue so that I understand it. After working with Dr. Binder, I feel confident that I can manage it going forward with her help.

Dr. Binder was attentive and thorough during the visit and unrushed. It had been some time since my last visit; she displayed great recall of my condition; I don't believe this was solely from her records. I will soon have an out-patient procedure performed by her. I go to that with a calm confidence.

My experience with her was a pleasure. I had come from a GI doctor I'd been seeing for 15 years so the decision to change came with great concern..Dr. Binder was very patient, understanding and empathetic and kind. She listened to me no matter how long it took, she assured me and gave me confidence in the treatment she had prescribed.

I was impressed and relieved by the fact that Dr. Binder didn't only listen to what was going on with me but also how I felt about it, to help me come up with a plan today for treatment. I felt heard, understood, respected and for the first time in a long time.. genuinely optimistic about getting better. She knows her stuff and she's empathetic (in my experience, with doctors you usually only get one or the other). Highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Binder took her time in the consult to discuss all of my concerns, explain the possibilities and options for next steps, and got me scheduled right away. The procedure was smooth, she’s very clear comforting, direct, and honest. So glad I found her.

Dr. Binder is the most Compassionate Physician. She is extremely knowledgeable in her specialty and other aligning specialties. I make sure that i recommend her to everyone. Her staff our curious prompt and Patient with the demands of a sick and worried patient. I could not be Happier to have her on my side. Truly Blessed to have been referred to her.

I would recommend Dr. Binder to anyone. She is very thorough and doesn't stop until she finds an answer. She is kind and works with a patient to find solutions.

I thought she was a wonderful doctor and would definitley recommend and refer friends and family to her(I actually already have). Alot of times patients may ask for something ridiculous because they are a doctor that they have to do what the patient says and think they will get it...WRONG! Doctors are here to make you well and whats right for you NOT what you want just because! THANK YOU DR.BINDER for all your care!
