Demeaning, rude, and unprofessional
It is so unfortunate that Dr. Woo is licensed when she lacks professionalism. I brought my sister, who has Down syndrome (DS), to get evaluated by her . Upon arriving, before being able to utter a complete sentence, Dr. Woo cut me off to inform me that she is not the designated doctor for the evaluation we were seeking. I explained that I made it very clear to her front desk what evaluation we were seeking. Mistakes happen, however, during our 10-min encounter, she insulted me by asking if I knew that my sister had DS and if I understand what DS is. She then asked me to explain to her what DS is. Never once did she greet my sister but instead said “hey!” and snapped her fingers at my sister. When it was evident that she is incompetent, I told her that we were leaving and she told me that I “couldn’t just leave.” If you decide to go to Dr. Woo, not only will you be treated by a doctor who is rude, but also by one who doesn’t know she can’t hold people against their will.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I brought my 9yo to see Dr. Woo last week for an ADHD evaluation. She wrote down several math problems and handed them to my child. That's NOT how you diagnose ADHD (especially when math is not my daughter's problem - reading comprehension is - but Dr. Woo wouldn't know that because she never ASKED). She went on to say my daughter, who is scared of doctors, was moody. Then judged me for having my older children attend county college. Proceeded to berate me for my daughter not knowing how to swim (she's terrified of the water). Had a 10 minute conversation about swimming lessons. She seemed genuinely surprised I have a PhD. Then said that my daughter has a mood disorder. You can't diagnose those until age 20+. The kicker is that I work for the same company she does and she STILL treated me this way. I feel terrible for anyone not affiliated with the organization. If that's how she treated me, I can only imagine how she treats others.

Although her office staff was amazing and the office was clean, I would not go back to Dr. Woo with my child. Very condescending, rude and no patience. Very disappointed in this doctor.

Don’t bring your kids to this place if you have a kid with autism and cries when in new places. She was rude and asked if he always cries like that and asked me to back another day and who refer me. Also was on the phone while talking to me. How rude. She should not be pediatric neurologist. I wish she looses her license. Ease to get an appt because probably she does not have enough pacients to be booked.

Dr. Woo was my neurologist for almost 20 years she was one of the surgeons who operated on me in hand with Dr. Stella in St. Barnibas. She has a great staff and understands the needs for her patients. I had a astrocytoma removed at the age of 3.5 with little survive rate expectations. I am now 31 and she helped me fight to be removed from special education at the age of 12. I graduated both hs and elementary school with honors. I completely college. Disrepectful and incompetent. They checked out my insurance over the phone and said it was good to come in. First visit, my daughter was refused to be seen cause of insurance issue although they had already checked it to be fine. Later they called me and apologized for cunfusion. Then they scheduled us for another appointment. Second time Dr Woo again, refused to see my daughter because they cannot find the copy of insurance. Obviously they misplaced the copy of my daughters ins. Total joke.

Dr. Woo was totally disrespectful and rude to us and our daughter. She did not explain anything. After a 5 minute test, she said my daughter would be medicated. She actually took a phone call while i was in the middle of a question. Did not even excuse herself from the conversation, just picked up the phone while I was talking. I left there having no idea if there were serious medical issues. Do not take your child to Dr. Woo. Waited 2 hours, with an appointment.

This doctor diagnosed my child with Adhd and wanted to medicate from a 4 minute consult. She is unprofessional, egotistical, and has no bed-side manners. Do yourself a favor, and take your child somewhere else. Other doctors who actually care about your child deserve your business and money more than her.
