Wow, my experience was so completely different than these post. She asked me a lot of questions, gave me a lot of education and ordered a full better of testing because diagnosing me. Dr. White also gave me copies of everything she had done so I could share with other doctors that I may see outside of the Cleveland area. I had a great experience.

Inner ear disorders are notoriously hard to diagnose. I know that. But Dr. White barely asked me any questions and then gave me her "best guess." I had to ask her about dietary changes, OTC medications, possible triggers, etc. She offered very little in the way of treatment options or empathy. She refused to prescribe valium, even though I only wanted it as a last resort option for vertigo episodes.

I chose Cleveland Clinic because I thought they had the best doctors. Wow I sure was wrong. I felt dismissed and the doctors lack of interest was appalling. Dr White may have a MD in her name however she is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. If I wanted a pamphlet about Menieres I could have gone to the public library. After waiting patiently for over an hour, I felt rushed. As soon as I mentioned ringing in my ears, she abruptly says I don't treat ear ringing. Bad experience BEWARE!!

Acts like listening while studyiing papers, but doesn't hear me. I KNOW Meniere's & Migraine Assoc Vertigo (15 yrs). Went for a huge, sudden hearing loss unlike both, indicative of AIED needing immediate treatment. Patronizing. You have Meniere's what do you expect gave me same intro brochure I got 15 yrs ago! Also Since you're so concerned about hearing loss... YES!!! Otoneurologist later dx'd I don't have Meniere's after all. (Someone else dx'd Meniere's). Did set up ref to hearing doc
