My daughter has special needs and is nonverbal and although she is 30 yrs old . She must have a pediatric exam. She made us wait 2 hrs for exam , and my daughter was agitated and Dr Lqvich had difficulty instilling eye drops in her eyes. She throw the eye drops on the floor , was rude to us and didn’t listen to our suggestions or accept our assistance. At the end of the appt she refused to give us a rx for our daughter’s glasses. Never again !she is very rude and unprofessional!

Horrible bedside manner
Dr. Lavrich is definitely knowledgeable, but she is rather rude and abrupt. She does not seem to always listen to the needs of the patient vs leading with her own recommendation. The way she speaks to her staff also made me uncomfortable as a healthcare executive. While it may be a coaching opportunity, it demonstrated that she is basically rude to everyone and that’s just her demeanor.

Dr lavrich did 2 muscle surgeries on my grandson
She totally fixed his extremely turned out left eye, which was so outward that the brain was cutting vision off. She was great! When my husband passed 4!years ago, we lost his insurance. She didn’t except Medicade. Now his eye is starting to turn again . He will turn 13 next month.don’t want to find any other eye surgeon!!

Dr. Lavrich is the BEST. Both my husband and I have been blessed because of her talent. We are grateful for her caring. If you have any delays it is because the Doctor cares.

Yesterday, I joined my daughter in her respect & admiration for Dr. Lavrich. We "found" Dr Lavrich 25 years ago when my daughter, then 4, was diagnosed with Amblyopia (lazy eye). My husband & I were deeply touched & reassured by Dr. Lavrich that our daughter would be fine.. & indeed she is! As life happens, I developed some sort of "mass" on my bottom eyelid and it needed to be removed. Dr. Lavrich assured me (again) that it was going to be fine, & indeed I am. When it comes to health, especially your child, no on is "good enough"...trust this review.. Dr. Lavrich IS "good enough". I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Appointments are not easy to make for this Dr., but if you can wait, you will be more than happy that you are her patient! I certainly am..

Dr Lavrich was outstanding.I had an emergency infection of the eye. She was extremely professional and very thorough in her examination. She followed up on the treatment and set up an appointment for a follow up exam within her extremely busy schedule. I would highly recommend Dr. Lavrich.

I became a patient of Dr. Lavrich because I needed stronger prisms in my glasses because of stabismus. I had surgery to correct it when I was 13. I am now 61. I noticed increasing problems with focusing. When reading small print for extended periods of time, I was unable to immediately refocus to see things at a distance. Dr. Lavrich suggest I sign up for Orthoptic Therapy. It was a commitment financially. I had to purchase a computer training kit and spend approximately 35 minutes daily completing the exercises. I have been doing the exercises for 7 months and definitely see a difference in my ability to focus. I also have less headaches and my vision has improved slightly. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lavrich if you have any eye focusing problems.

Extremely professional, qualified, knowledgeable, caring. Dr Lavrich is the best opthomologist/surgeon I have ever had. She is brilliant, kind, caring, friendly as is her entire staff. She gives me all the time I need for examination and questions and explanation. I am so reassured when I have an appointment with her that I am in the “best hands” possible.

I recently had both cataracts removed. Following the surgery, the vision in my left eye was still blurred several months later and it was discovered that a large floater was obstructing the entire field of vision in that eye. Dr. Lavrich was able to apply a very new laser technique to safely remove 80% of the floater and greatly improve my vision! She is one of only 7 doctors in the US qualified to perform this procedure which is much safer that actual surgery.

I sustained a serious concussion at work and vestibular therapy helped but I just couldn't seem to recover 100%. I began seeing Dr. Lavrich and due to the ocular therapy she prescribed and the treatment from her and her staff, I was able to return to work! Dr. Lavrich and the Total Eye Care staff are kind, professional and flat out excellent! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

What a difference vision therapy has made for our daughter! For years, she struggled with reading and was diagnosed with ADHD. A sports concussion led to our first appointment with Dr. Lavrich. She diagnosed our daughter with strabismus and recommended vision therapy. Within six months, our daughter's vision changed. Her headaches were gone. Reading ability greatly improved. She's able to complete school work. She can certainly attend to instruction and complete work. Thank you, Dr. Lavrich!

Getting my daughter's vision diagnosis I was skeptical and now after only 3+ months on vision therapy and seeing results both in the doctors office and hearing it from her teacher and occupational therapist that they see improvement. I'm a believer if your child is struggling with reading and writing you might even think he/she has ADHD or Dyslexia because that was my thought. Even though your child could still have those issues, this diagnoses mimics those symtoms as well. I highly recommend ge

Competent clinician, BUT... her bedside manner is poor - she is rushed and quite often abrupt. Office staff and medical assistants are very rude. Have never waited less than an hour at an appointment and sometimes 2 hours - it's absolutely ridiculous. And I am a physician, so I get busy practices - and I am not one to bash my colleagues, but this is one of the worst I have seen. Do yourself a favor, find another pediatric ophthalmologist.

Office staff is rude. Dr. seems rushed. She suggested a lot of cosmetic procedures and other services not related to medical conditions or covered by insurance. I lost confidence in her objectivity and ability to care.
