My daughter was admitted. Thursday night to college medical in lLB. Dr Valdez c my daughter Monday morning and released her. In a few minutes he lets her leave. Even thoe she is skinny hears voices paranoid talks to herself and abscess that people r after her. She is a threat to herself and others sometimes. But he didn’t care or return my calls when I aske to detain her till I talked to him. Still no calls from him yet and I’m her mom had had her taken in

The system is broken because of doctors like this one. We need to hold the standards of psychiatrists higher. You cannot possibly talk to anyone for less than 5 minutes and get a proper understanding of their issues to diagnose them. The Del Amo facility is nothing but a holding and medicating arrangement. Mental health is not a one size fits all treatment. Shame on this practice for not doing more for the new generation of children who struggle with social media and unreachable beauty standards.

I was treated by him in 2017 and 2019 in a hospital setting. Both times he over medicated me, with horrendous side effects. He doesn’t listen to his patients. He wouldn’t listen to me. He is an authoritarian physician who violated the Hippocratic Oath, as he harmed me traumatically. He wanted to put me on 8 times my normal dosage of medication. That was in 2017. In 2019 it was a horror to see him again, with serious side effects

I was going through a divorce, my car was being repossessed, and I didn't know how to pay my rent that month. This led to a mental breakdown that hospitalized me. From my hospital bed without questioning me or having any conversation he diagnosed me as bipolar and gave me a prescription for serequill. The only thing that saved me was my partner who noticed and stopped me from taking the prescription. This man is reckless and doesn't care about his patients. Be careful.
