Dr. Juanita Wyatt-Hathaway, MD

Dr. Hathaway was my Dr. throughout my whole pregnancy and she always took her time to make sure everything was good and answered all my questions! When it was time for delivery she was the Dr. on call but only till 7pm, I got to the hospital around 5pm and needed an unexpected C-section. Dr. Hathaway talked me through everything and comfort me and even stayed over time to be sure she was the one to deliver my baby since she knew how stressed I was about the situation and how important it was to me even without me saying anything! She truly is the best Dr. in the office and I’ll stick with her for as long she’ll practice!

I have been a patient for 20 years and Dr. Wyatt-Hathaway has been an exceptional doctor.

Bedside manner left much to be desired! After waiting an hour and a half to see her, she came in speaking from the hallway never seeing my face saying 'Nice to see you again.' I then told her I was a new patient and we had never met. She rushed through my appointment and because I had an abortion she automatically jumped to me getting on birth control. She was very judgmental without asking any questions about family planning. She was not informative the bc she suggested was one I had not heard of but instead of giving me the facts or a brief summary she said she would give me a pamphlet. Not to mention it took days for all my results to comeback. I definitely felt like billable hours. I will never visit this office again!

Gives thorough explanations and consistently has great follow up! I trust her all of her recommendations. Takes the time to get to know patients a bit, so you don’t feel like just another number.

Dr. Hathaway is an excellent physician. She trusted my advocacy about my symptoms and rapidly addressed the underlying causes saving my life. Several days into my hospital stay she sat with me to explain what had happened and answer all of my questions. She is an exemplary physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Hathaway for four years now and she has been phenomenal. She is, hands down, my favorite doctor. She has always taken care of me and listened to my concerns and answered any questions. She is straight forward and kind and I appreciate someone who is to the point. She has a lot of patients and cares about them all. I would recommend her to anyone!

I met her 19 years ago. She delivered my 4 lb 10 oz and she gave me excellent advise. I wanted to tie my tubes but she refused. I was 39 years old and had fibroids. On God's will, I had to have an emergency hysterectomy during child birth and I knew it hurt her more than it hurt me. She is wonderful and caring and due to her being so exceptional at her job, her clientele does not leave her a lot of time to chat. This was my first pregnancy and I stuck with Dr. Wyatt-Hathaway through all but a few appointments because you never know who you will get for delivery. I get scared about just about everything and although she is a bit more stern then the other doctors at the practice it was exactly what I needed. She was able to laugh with me but also get down to business when needed. I was able to trust her and for the amount of patients they see everyday I did not feel like I was lost in the mix.

Doctor Hathaway is the BEST and most AWESOME doc I have ever visited! She makes sure her patients are always taken care of, and if you're pregnant she makes sure the baby is in perfect health. Dr. Hathaway is very educated and knowledgeable of her discipline and that is evident in her treatment. I have been to other OBGYN's and I must say DR. Hathaway is the best. She treats me like I am family and everyone in the office is so WONDERFUL!!!! I will continue to visit this office for a long time

She is very friendly, caring and understanding Dr. I had concerns and she listened. Thank you for ensuring me that my issues are normal.

I went in to see the doctor for concerns I was having. I waited a total of 1 1/2 hrs just to see her for 2 minutes. She was very abrupt and didn't try to alleviate my concerns or be understanding of my fears about my symptoms. She didn't even talk with me after my exam to answer any questions I may have had. I will be looking for a provider who is more thoughtful and isn't running an assembly line practice.

Bedside manner is not good, she's friendly, but not very caring. She broke the news that I had breast cancer (she needs help in how to inform someone of pretty devastating info) Then last year when I came for my pap, she gave me a pelvic & said OK you're good. I said what about the pap? She told me I didn't need one b/c I was in the "good health" group. She should be more cautious or at least give ME the option! I insisted that I get a pap as pretty sure I was no longer in the "good group".

I am pregnant with my first child, and came to Atlanta Women's Specialists on a recommendation from a friend. I was referred to another doctor but since you don't know who you'll see at delivery, I decided to see all of the doctors. Dr. Hathaway was cold, disinterested, and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I had questions. She didn't ask me anything or tell me what I should be expecting. She is the main reason I've decided to change practices.

So upset with my experience i will never return. Came to Dr. with complaint when getting my annual and she brushed it off telling me i was ok. When called with my results, i was told all was normal. 2 months later, same problem persisting, go in for another visit and am told that i was called in for a script for an issue i was told was "normal" over phone. Was never told of the infection by nurse or doctor. Dr. was EXTREMELY RUDE! Also, every time i'm in the office i wait 1 hour plus. RECONSIDER

Patient for over a decade...shortly after office opened...have been more than satisfied since...through the change of life and two surgeries...all is well...
