Dr Santiago couldn't be kinder, very skilled and professional. My ear cartilage was exposed after a bike accident, and he gave me 8 stitches in a very delicate area. It was effortless and he explained everything as he worked, which relieved much of my anxiety. He also ordered antibiotics and a head xray as an added precaution. The whole emergency staff at Illinois Masonic was efficient, friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

My mother had to have a second surgery because he didn't remove her appendix as he was supposed to do. This was an emergency surgery on the weekend. He didn't tell us about the mistake and it took 3 days for the hospital to realize that she still had her appendix in her and it had burst. She is elderly and the 3 add’l days in the hospital has been very hard on her.
