I had a hiatal hernia with a Linx device surgery done by Dr Blondett in May 2022 the surgery went well. However, since the surgery I had asked several times in person, and by email for him to write a letter stating what causes a hiatal hernia, and asked if it could of been related to complications from another surgery that I had which was workman’s comp and if it was it should be included in my claim . I asked every month until December and kept getting the response that he had to look at my file. Finally, after asking if there was a patient representative that could help me. He had a nurse call me back and tell me that he did not have time to go through my record because he was too busy and could not take the time to help me. He had her write a very generic letter to me with not much information. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated on this. Hes’s too busy- yet I have had very busy and well known back surgeons who have gone out of their way and found the time to help me.

Dr Blondet is kind, compassionate and outstandingly talented. He did a 5 hour gastric bypass revision on me having to make difficult choices in the moment that had me feeling better than ever! He listened carefully to all my concerns, I never felt judgement, and he was exceptionally clear on describing what he as going to do and the risks. I always felt he had my well-being paramount of importance. Recovery was astoundingly fast. I owe my life to him. I'd trust the lives of my family with his deft hands and empathetic heart. Dr. Blondet is impressive! His personality is perfect, and he’s very detailed in explaining what to expect. I had an emergency appendectomy done late at night after hours in the emergency room. He came in to meet me and answer any questions I had beforehand. I would hope to have him again if needed! He laughed when I asked him... “when can I eat?”. That was my top priority... I hadn’t eaten all day but he reassured me I’d be okay to eat after surgery. Plus, I haven’t had an complications from surgery. He’s amazing!

I met with Dr. Blondet to discuss bariatric surgery. He left me feeling incredibly sad and embarrassed. He was rude and I have been terrified to discuss weight issues with any doctor since. Even the insurance company was appalled when I described my appointment as was my husband who was with me. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Blondet performed my barbaric sleeve surgery as well as repaired a hiatal hernia on 5/16. I'm more than happy with the results and recovery. He is very knowledgeable, kind and confident in what he does. I would recommend him to everyone in need of his services! He is great!
