Staff waited until I drove all the way to the building to tell me when I tried checking in that my appointment was cancelled and they had been “meaning to call me” but the next appointment I wasn’t able to be seen due to being 3 minutes late.

Please please do not open a practice to "care for patients" if you cannot do so because they were 10 minutes late coming from work. I also work in health care so I know it is frustrating when patients are late. For that reason, I had called ahead of time to make sure I could still come in. I wish someone would have told me that when they answered my call instead of rudely dismissing me when I got there as if I was begging for their service without paying. It is VERY insulting how their staff treated me and more so that the doctor did not even consider seeing her patient because they were 10 minutes late.

I have gone to Dr. Carter twice and had to wait over an hour each time before seeing her. This includes waiting room and waiting on the actual room. She seems like a nice person and wait times may not be that important to some people but for me it is at the top of the list. She seems like a nice person, and knowledgeable, but her time with me always felt rushed and I didn't care for that. Staff and nurses are extremely kind but I will be looking for another Dr.
