I had him as a physician when I was a child. He was awesome. Always tried to figure out the problem instead of giving some generic answer. He ended up finally diagnosing a problem of mine that went untreated for years. One of the most diligent doctors I've ever had, Thank you!

Found Dr. Cortes 3years ago after moving here. He's one of the rare Exceptional pediatricians that many parents seek for their little ones. Our kids enjoy coming to this office , and his staff is exemplary. Highly proffessional environment and delivers on every excellent level. We have confidently recommended Dr Cortes to 2 dear friends & each of them is very happy with the results. We choose the LONGWOOD OFFICE AS OUR MEDICAL HOME. Our family can not say enough great things about Dr. Cortesand his staff. He is so amazing with our two boys ages 5 and 8. He is patient, kind and compassionate. He takes his time at each visit and always makes the kids feel at ease. He doesn't only educate the children but us as well and informs us of what we should be looking for at each growing milestone with our boys. I love the fact that he talks to the boys directly, since they are the patient and gets them involved in their own care.

Dr. Cortes and his staff are very friendly. He takes his time and answers any questions. When my son was diagnosed with ADHD he knew we were concerned with medicating him. He NEVER push meds and when we decided to he helped us through that process. The ONLY negative is that they don't have any walk ins. I really don't feel comfortable about taking my children to urgent care to see a Dr. who doesn't know them.
