Very attentive and responsive! Kept in touch with me at all times in regards to my Mom after her colon was damaged by another doctor.

I am giving Dr. Wolf 5 stars because I am very happy with my experience with him from consultation to post op. I was beyond nervous about having sigmoid resection surgery and he took the time to listen to any questions or concerns from start to finish. He did a phenomenal job with my surgery, I had no complications and I feel so much better after having it. He and his team were extremely attentive at the hospital with my care and I always felt they genuinely cared. I would probably rate his staff very differently due to the difficulty in getting through to the office, miscommunication, and disorganized scheduling process. However, Dr. Wolf made himself very available and was very accommodating, so for that I am giving him 5 stars.

I was referred to Joshua Wolf by Dr. Wolf's father. I should have known that was the set up. His secretary tried my patience.on a few occasions. I had to travel to Sinai Hospital to find no street parking, call to get directions to the actual building, only to park in the garage and be unable to enter the building and do a detour. I arrived at 3:30pm (my appt time) and Dr. Wolf did not step foot into the room until 4:22pm. I was minutes away from leaving. He apologized, but he knew I was clearly irked. He had his assistant come in the room and he disappeared again for almost 10 minutes and the assistant had to go find him. At the end of the visit he says his scheduler will contact me to set up my surgery. That was on April 28th. I called to inquire about the scheduling on May 3rd and his secretary tells me in this I could care less tone "Well, she just hasnt gotten back to you yet. She will when she gets around to it." Oh? Today is May 12th. No call. I have set an appt with anothe

His bedside manner, care of patients, knowledge of his specialty, and much more is amazing. Anyone I know that needs colorectal surgery or have a disease like Crohns and may need surgery down the line, I always refer him. For my first surgery to be a big one I would not have wanted another surgeon. His staff is wonderful and I recommend him 100%. And it speaks volumes when a surgeon (someone who sees you a few times usually) can remember details that are not in your medical record like your family and other conversations months/years later.

Through surgery and recovery care, he has carefully explained everything, been available for questions and made time to see when an issue arose. I feel he and his team provided excellent care.

Kind, compassionate and very skilled. He spends the time to really speak to you instead of rushing through the visit like many other docs. My operation went very well and my cancer was cured! Great surgeon.
