Dr. Wechsler is great. He took an advance look at my son's condition, and had wonderful bedside manner.

I'm a mom with a sick kid. I'm lucky to have had access to some of the best pediatric doctors in the country. All of them were phenomenal, but none of them come close to the level of Dr. Wechsler's care. Rather than discount everything I said because I'm just a parent, he valued everything I said *because* I am the parent. He listened like I was teaching him something. He took notes like I was testing him later. When I understood something, he spoke to me like his peer. When I didn't, he explained it like I was his student. Chasing a diagnosis for your kid is hard. With other doctors, I felt hesitant to even ask if we should consider X or Y because they seemed offended that I was looking into something they hadn't brought up themselves. They'd just tell me it wasn't X or Y — end of story. Dr. Wechsler either supported testing or explained why he thinks it's not X or Y in great detail. I'll say this: I've never been optimistic about my son's future until I met Dr. Wechsler.
