This concern is about the practice in general and not the doctors who work there. I have been a patient there for well over a decade, today I went in to have the doctors office sign my renewal for a disabled permit. This is required in Florida every four years. I filled out 95% of the form, all that was required was a signature by the doctor. When I went to pick it up, I was charged $15! When did they start teaching a class in medical school on how to extract every penny from a patient who already pays $24,000 a year for medical insurance? Absolutely an outrage. By the way, the state of Florida charges zero dollars for a disabled permit! Shameful.

UNABLE TO REACH THIS DR., UNPROFESSIONAL.
Its a sad day when you have to write a negative review. 3X I called Dr. Steiner's office and left an 'urgent' message for him to call back. NEVER GOT A RETURN CALL. My husband had had a stroke and was in the hospital for 5 days and this is the treatment we got from this office. Finally I actually spoke over the phone with the Dr. and he said he'd never gotten the message(s)!!! How is this possible, or someone is lying. Either way I can't depend on a doctor whether I like him or not when you can't reach him. I told him something or someone is Rotten in that place and not professional. He didn't seem bothered. Time to find a new doctor.

Rude, and unprofessional
They charge $25 to do the blood test in the office. The door is open at 7:45am, first come first serve , type of service. it was a lot of people everybody waiting patiently. I am just speaking for myself. Right after 8 o’clock the young lady comes in. The way she talks to receptionist they know each other. I overheard the young lady saying ;I have to do my blood test all those people for the same thing? receptionist replied; yes, they are all for the same thing, don’t worry just come in, I will take care of you. remember, it should be first come first serve. I told receptionist: that’s not fair. Why she have to go before me.? she have to wait like everybody else. Reply was, she’s the a family. I lost it. I start argue with them ,disrespectful they don’t care about the patient. The manager said “she’s not doing the blood test. She is here with her mother”. I said :”you must be crazy “,. I was very upset,I told couple of people to shut up.

Office has gone down hill
I have been going to this practice for nearly 20 years and will never go back. The office staff is bearably rude and unprofessional. I am not a fan of Dr. Steiner personally, but I really like the physician I see, Dr. Lechtenstein. However good she is, it is not worth dealing with that office. Dr. Steiner should be ashamed to run a practice that allows its patients to be treated so shamefully.

I showed up 8 minutes late to my appointment and they refused to see me. They told me I needed to reschedule. I have been going here for over 5 years and waited plenty of times for more than 15-20 minutes to see a doctor.

dr steiner is the best caring doc i've ever had
staff has always been curtious and wait times are very small (just minutes)dr steiner, himself , is a very caring person, which is probably why it takes a bit of time to get an appointment (if you need an appointment in a hurry, there are two pa's (physicians assistants) almost always available.the checkout person is a sweetheart !!

Dr Steiners Office staff - HORRIBLE
CARRIE is the RUDEST employee I've ever had to deal with in a medical office. She should seriously be fired. Her attitude and unprofessionalism paralleled to that of a Walmart employee on 163rd st. I would NEVER go back to this office again. The other staff I spoke to about a refill of a prescription was almost just as bad! Luckily they have an office manager that knows how to be caring, curious, and professional that apologized for the actions of this nightmare of a woman. She also knew how to do her job and advised exactly what needs to be done for the refill. Something Maribel didn't even care to TRY and figure out on her own, instead of completely brushing me off because she didn't know what to do. Rivkie was amazing. The other 2... will probably cause a lot of problems for this practice if they are the standard of care this office provides. Find new jobs ladies... healthCARE is definitely NOT for you.

Sad but True …
It is such a shame this office no longer provides quality care to their patients. The change in ‘support staff’ is drastic! They overbook, leaving wait times in the 2-3 hour range and have consistent issues when paperwork needs to be submitted after the visit. I literally had to beg them for a straight week to fax my prescription. I even communicated that their missteps were resulting in horrible withdrawal symptoms (for days) from being unable to pick up the recommended medication to the pharmacy.

1) Dr Joshua Steiner CHOSE to DENY proper ADA accommodation's on his deaf patients at all! Dr Steiner's office absolutely said NO to a sign language interpreter at all even though this was best approach on deaf accommodation needs. 2) Dr Steiner's Office CHOSE to FORCE their patients to wait for a week to get any referral. even with cancer patients. If you try to speed it up, Their referral coordinator (Lily) basically said too bad you must wait a week that is our process here. If you don't like it then SHE HUNG UP on me!

As a Healthcare Professional, I was very impressed with Dr. Steiner, and his collegues and professional staff. From the beginning of checking in to seeing the Dr., his professionalism and recommendations which were completely on point, to check out was a very excellent experience, and I am thrilled to have them as my Primary Care Physicians. There are no issues with refilling my prescriptions and they are a top notch group. Thank you all for your empathy, professionalism and kindness.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Steiner's office. I was seen by Brooke Lane a PA-C. She is great. She did more in one visit than my last "doctor" did in one year, honestly. After asking questions about my history, she set an appt. for lab work, had an EKG done right then, and arranged for me to go have a chest X-ray among other things, and the office staff was great and not a long wait. I recommend them .

I went to see Jenna Freitag with high blood pressure and low thyroid issues, she changed my blood pressure medication due to some hair loss and that went fine. She decided to lower my thyroid dosage and now my levels plummeted and my hair loss is worse and I am sapped of energy. They refuse to up my medication to what it was when I was feeling great, and told me to “ go see a specialist” I have to do so now since she screwed me up so bad. All this was so unnecessary, and they could care less. Unless your medical issues are very simple, I would not recommend seeing Ms Freitag.

I have been seeing Dr. Steiner for years and highly recommend him. You don't often find a Dr. that is as caring as Dr. Steiner is. Has the best office staff. This is my second recommendation for Dr. Steiner. Left one in 2016 and still think he is the best PC you can find in Hollywood.

If you plan on going to Dr. Steiner's office, make sure you have at least 2 hours or more to wait to be seen and complete your appointment. I don't think I've ever personally been seen by the Doctor, it's usually a PA. I have also called with a very pressing medical issue regarding a medication the PA prescribed and did not receive a call back for a week. I was able to get in to see another doctor sooner than I received a return phone call. I would definitely not recommend this doctor/office
