He has been my PCP for over 10 years. Very good PCP. Does a good job of ensuring labs are update to date and read. Spends a good amount of time with his patients. My whole family uses him. Very easy to schedule. They do labs in house every Weds. Nurses and staff are friendly and helpful.

My Doctor for 15+ Years
Dr Rycus has been my PCP for over 15 years. I couldn’t imagine going to any other doctor and I have nothing but positive things to say about him and his office staff. Dr Rycus is kind, caring, professional, knowledgeable and takes time to listen to his patients. When I retired, I made it a point to pick a Medicare Plan that accepted Dr Rycus. His office staff is kind and caring and always returns calls in a prompt manner. Dr Rycus has always taken care of my medical needs if he is prescribing medication he takes the time to explain the reason, if he recommends me to a specialist he follows my progress, he will suggest different options of treatment to come up with a plan I am comfortable with. He treats you like family, keeping your wellbeing his first priority. Thanks for being the Great Physician that you are!!!!! YOU ROCK!

Outstanding Primary Care Physician
I highly recommend Dr. Rycus. He's been my primary care physician for over 15 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and always has time to explain the rationale for any medications that are being prescribed. I would say Dr. Rycus is a walking medical encyclopedia because no matter my ailment, he is able to suggest a concrete plan of action regarding my wellness. He's also very friendly, an effective listener and actually takes notes of personal situations or factors that may be impacting my health.

I've been seeing Dr Rycus for almost 9 yrs. and each visit he carefully goes over all notes from our previous visit and results of all new labs taken a few days before the current visit. he is the best primary Dr. I have ever had and I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars.

Excellent doctor, friendly staff!
Dr. Rycus was very thorough! He read through my labs line by line and made recommendations. I can get an appointment fast and there is very little wait time. The staff is friendly. Dr. Rycus is the best primary care physician I’ve ever had! He’s an excellent doctor!

Dr. Rycus not to be trusted
He charges insurance companies for things that were never done. Found out when I got a breakdown of the charges to insurance cy. He so called removed a cyst ; was never removed, never had a cyste. He charged for after hours visit. Was there at 2 pm,regular visit hours. I just paid my copay, but he didn't expect me to see the breakdown from Cigna. What would Cigna know. Thanks to him premiums are high. Never went back again.

Dr Rycus is a great doctor! I have been seeing him for over 15+ years and highly recommend him. I see some of the negative reviews posted here, but do not agree, so let me give you some insight. Yes, he does help train future doctors and you may meet some on your visit. The fact anyone complains about this is ridiculous as you have the option to say you don't want them participating in your visit. Keep in mind that future doctors will be better doctors given the opportunity to have real-life practice. Someone else complained that he said "I don't know". He is a general physician, if he "doesn't know" he still has some idea what the problem might be, and will send you to an appropriate specialist for further diagnosis. He has done this for me, and the specialist he referred me to is excellent in his field and is still one of my doctors today. Sure, he's a bit chatty, but at least has some personality! Visit for yourself to see that he is interested in your well being.

Extremely Poor. Don't go to this doctor. He is all about the money and how he can charge his patients maximum dollars for a five minute non eventful office visit. Elderly patients think he spends a lot of time listening to them but actually he just goes on and on about non patient things then charges the insurance company for the largest office visit he can. This doctor's practice need to be investigated. He is working the system and the patient's suffer because of it. He drops patients if they don't come in every three months for their refills without notice. No exceptions. This is not AMA standards or proper practice protocols. He should be investigated.

I've been going to Dr. Rycus for a few years , and at first, I liked him. I thought he was knowledgeable, competent and friendly, but lately something is different. He is frantic and quick to answer, sometimes answering with " I don't know". That bothers me. He also mistakenly gave me a previous and not the updated prescription for high blood pressure, not a mistake a doctor should make. He was rude when he was about to take my blood pressure and told me my arm was "fat" , not polite.

i have been going to Dr Rycus for 8 and 1/2 years now. He is a wonderful, caring doctor and spends the time that you need him to. This also means that he many times falls behind schedule and it can be a while. His staff is generally very accommodating, kind and helpful. I would recommend his highly but you must be willing to wait a while but you won't be disappointed. He listens and explains. A rare thing these days.
