My husband and I are both patients of Dr Ratner. He is excellent at his profession. We feel blessed to have him as our physician .

Great Doctor
Dr. Ratner was able to cast my son’s fractured thumb to avoid surgery. He gave us more options after another doctor had said surgery was the only option. Excellent hand doctor for teens!

anything broken hand related, go here
My son broke his pinky bone and was referred here. I doubt it is the major kind of thing seen here, but still, Dr. Ratner gave it full, undivided attention and the office staff was great, quick and kind.

What a fantastic surgeon. I have, unfortunately, had several surgeries over the past few years, and Dr. Ratner is by far the best. Why? Yes, he did a great job repairing my broken elbow, but more than anything he was kind, caring, listened well and answered all my questions patiently. He never seemed to be in a rush, yet always ran on time, no matter what time of day my follow up appointments were. And his staff, especially Cherice Samuel, was so nice.

Dr Ratner is very pleasant, his offices are lovely and he discusses things with you as much as you would like to. My concern is 1) I was placed in a removable splint for a scaphoid fracture and 2 staff members told me I could remove it to wash it (do not remove casts or splints b4 4-8 weeks depending on the fracture - you may cause further damage); 2) on my first follow up visit, they wanted to remove my splint to X-ray- you can X-ray through a cast or splint so if it’s too soon to remove your splint, x ray w it on to prevent further damage; 3) in my follow up with the dr, he commented I may have fractured my ulna in addition to my scaphoid, which is 2 fxs / more severe & possibly should have been casted Do your homework on your injury to make sure your treatment lines up with what’s recommended. Check several sources.

Awesome!!! Very personable, quick and to the point. I like how he won't make you come back just to to tell you your OK, like other physicians. And that he's a physician who the whole family can see. He's extremely thorough If your having surgery.
